Welcome to 30 Days of Affirmations, and thank you for downloading this ebook. I hope it provides you with ideas and inspiration for your own set of personal affirmations.
What is 30 Days of Affirmations?30 Days of Affirmations started on a whim. At the time, I was completing 30 days of meditation, and completing my second month-long challenge over at 750words.com. I had tried working with affirmations before, but had quickly realised that using other people’s affirmations didn’t work so well for me - it felt like slipping into someone else’s skin rather than speaking for myself.
At the beginning of the 2013, I started producing one desktop affirmation a month. Although these were primarily for members of the Becoming Who You Are community to download and use themselves, I also found the practice thought-provoking.
Having gained a lot from a daily meditation and journaling practice, I figured what better way to kickstart an affirmation practice by committing to this daily for a set amount of time too?
The affirmations in 30 Days of Affirmations aren’t in any particular order. I created each affirmation based on what came to me on a day-by-day basis. The pictures aren’t great (the photo quality of my iPod is a throwback to the early 2000s), but nevertheless I hope you find value in the following pages.
How to Use These AffirmationsAs you read through the affirmations, you’ll find that some work for you as they are, some need a few tweaks to feel relevant for you, and others just don’t resonate at all. Like all personal development tools and resources, I recommend that you cherry-pick the affirmations that work for you and leave those that don’t.
If you have any questions or feedback about these affirmations, please feel free to email me at [email protected].
Happy reading! :)
