between the US and Pakistani people.

There is a lot of mistrust between Pakistani and American society. When people getto know and work with each other though the trust is built. When people do businesstogether than mutual gain happens and closer ties are established.

Poverty and constant negative news in Pakistan is leading to a demotivated andfrustrated society. Major global news stories seem to highlight the negative ratherthan the positive that exist in the country. There has been over a thousand students that have come through the teachings andthis gives us a good pool to recruit from. The past year has been spent in Pakistanrunning over 30 workshops all unpaid for with over 1,000 students to help create theleaders that will help grow Webducate (either as volunteers or paid positions).

Webducate is headed by Amir Anzur an internet entrepreneur who began his career atAccenture, a leading American management consulting firm (formerly ArthurAndersen and Andersen Consulting). He setup his first internet venture in 1999 inLas Vegas, Nevada. His clients have included Amazon, Intel, Google, Oracle,Samsung and Xbox. priorities and bringing 15 years of international entrepreneurship experience will helpthe project to succeed.

Aamnah Akram was originally hired on Odesk, a US based freelancing website, byAmir Anzur in 2009 as a virtual assistant. A graduate of Kinnard Women’s Collegein Lahore Aamnah earns over $1,400 per month through her internet businessesincluding www.aamnah.com , www.hostmarkaz.com and www.ravihost.com .Aamnah will help advice the strategy of bringing more women to become successfullike her.

Aniqa Manzur has worked for corporations such as British Airways, American

Either one can hire the other to be a virtual assistant (as theywill be trained they will be more productive) or a business partner. What they do tothe relationship is up to them.

This will increase confidence of both women in working together as well as theEnglish skills and other work related skills of the Pakistani women. Women will even

be encouraged to visit and stay at each other’s homes to increase their confidence as

well as discuss their entrepreneurial skills.

The US women might be required to give $100 per month stipend to have a trainedvirtual assistant to join the program. For sustainability in the future we may take asmall percentage of the money to cover costs.

Also the women might be told their education is an interest free “student loan” whichthey can repay once they earn their income. Donations through the website will alsohelp sustain it for the future as success is shown so the programme can grow. Asthere is a huge media push such as Greg Morteson had used with “Three Cups of Tea”and stories will help bring in revenue to the projects.

There are few people that have the perseverance or passion to teach and spread theword of the Internet as Webducate. We know that given the chance, Webducate willdeliver a huge impact on not only Pakistani, but also American and global society.

The internet has the chance to bring positive change at a faster rate than at any other point in history. It is the equivalent of the television, radio, newspaper, university,telephone and printing press all combined. With the expertise and experience ofseveral years we can assure the American people that their investment withWebducate will bring a great benefit to global society.

The end goal will be a minimum of $5,000,000 generated to the economy as this iseasier to measure and “gamifies” the programme. Each entrepreneur can contributeupto $10,000 to this goal. For instance, 250 entrepreneurs that create over $10,000 in

business will contribute $2,500,000 to the goal. We have been successful in creatingthe pioneer success stories and with the help of the US Embassy in Pakistan can scaleto the rest of the country.
