Introduction: The attached floor plans of the main SNB office building and the attached ground plan of the SNB compound are sketches only, not to scale. They are intended as a graphic indication of the size and equipment of SNB in Berlin. Additional offices are known to be at two other addresses farther up Park Strasse (northeast) which will be reported on as information be- comes available. Room numbers used an the attached plans are not believed to be the actual numbers in use in the building, but were used by source for convenience in reporting. 2. Attachment "A" (Ground Floor Plan): a. Room 1: Anteroom to SOLUS' office (cf MGB-4191/BSC- 800). Occupied by two Russian women, Frau PORLOVSKI and Frau HOWLER. L. b. Roam 2:IQUISI--- i office. SOLUS, who is believed to have been deputy chief of SNB, and who was regarded as the prob- able successor to BESPALOV (MGB-4261/85O-803), is reported slated for return to Russia. c. Room 3: Foreign Section. A Russian officer is pre- c, sent in this room during working hours; this supervisory duty is cA, shared alternately between KAPIZIN and ROSENSTEIN. 1. Introduction: The attached floor plans of the main SNBoffice building and the attached ground plan of the SNB compoundare sketches only, not to scale. 3. Attachment "B" (Second Floor Plan):

a. Room 9: Russian secret communications. Containsa teletype (Fernschreiber), radio receiver, radio sender, tele-type (Hellschreiber), and an experimental machine about whichsource had no details. The key to this room is kept in the rosz•Vsession of ROSFITTECITELChief of Communications, during the lay,but is left—IK-t5TlitYpe room at night.

b. Room 10: Source did not know what was in this room.

c. Room 11: Russian typing pool; names or number ofpersonnel not known to source.

d. Room 12: Occupied by KAPITZIN or ROSEUSTEINnot on duty in the Foreign Section. (See para 2c above.)
