It is very easy to focus on and take care of others. We pray for loved ones when they are ill. We tell others that we love them and that they can accomplish their goals. When was the last time you took a moment to bless yourself? This self-esteem building technique is an ancient tradition from India and by using it you gain more energy to support others as well. HOW TO 1. Come into your favorite seated position, with your spine straight. If you are in a chair, bring both feet flat on the floor. 2. Place your left hand at the center of your chest (your heart center), with your palm fac- ing downward and thumb touching your sternum. 3. Take your right hand and bring it cupped downward a few inches above your head, like a halo. 4. Repeat out loud “I bless myself, I bless myself, I bless myself, I am I am.” Continue for up to three minutes. TO END 5. Relax, and enjoy the effects.
