  • Our main purpose in moving here was the outstanding quality of its education facilities.

The area is renowned for its schools and colleges covering the whole range of requirements, whether it be art, sport, or academic studies. Discovering this beautiful house was ideal. Its gothic style windows present a traditional, cottage, effect but our home is modern and bright with an adaptable layout, more especially with its two separate reception rooms, which offer many options for the comings and goings of a busy life.”

  • The property is accessed via the private front garden and into the pretty ENTRANCE HALL, with oak flooring, staircase and under stairs storage.

KITCHEN – This is a really impressive space, bright, airy and modern. Lots of windows and light. Grey wooden base and wall units with black granite tops. An attractive central island with breakfast bar and a good size dining area. The kitchen also has an integrated dishwasher,

fridge freezer, microwave double electric oven and ceramic Belfast sink. This room makes for a fabulous entertaining area.

CLOAKROOM – An attractive room low flush wc and hand basin built into unit.

  • The house was built to an extremely high specification and its quality is evident. We enjoy our kitchen/diner; it

being very much the heartbeat of our home. It is such a splendid area in which to enjoy friendly relaxed meals with friends and family.”

BEDROOM THREE – This room is at the of front of the property and a good size double once again a nice elegant, stylish room.

BEDROOM FOUR – A good size single, with fitted wardrobes and overlooking the side garden.

  • The beautiful city of Shrewsbury is conveniently close as are Bridgnorth and Telford, and, therefore, access to larger shopping amenities is very easy. The River Severn meanders in our area, Ironbridge is not far away, and the Severn Valley Railway is nearby. We also enjoy good access to major roads and motorways when required. The surrounding countryside is superb and there are many walks

and cycle paths direct from our home. Our village has a strong sense of community with several amenities, including a thriving tennis club. Many social events take place in the village, including ‘flicks in the sticks’ which is very popular.”

  • OUTSIDE – To the front, the garden is enclosed and private with well-established laurel hedging surrounding the perimeter. Potted plants and shrubs and pretty rose bushes frame the front door. There is side access to the rear garden, which has recently been re-landscaped. Mainly laid to lawn, with lots of lovely paved seating areas to soak up the sun and the pretty views and the large pond and the Shropshire Hills. There is also a delightful undercover bohemian seating area and an attractive SUMMER HOUSE/OFFICE with views and electricity connected. There is a double garage and parking for two cars. The garden is pretty and designed well with wall and step lighting features which help the garden come alive at night—a wonderful space.
