Beretta's exceptionally strong,reliable low-profile box lock is enhanced with engraved floral scroll or gamescenes.The stock and fore-end are cut from superior quality walnut, selected for grain color and wood density, and built to withstand a lifetime of use and to guarantee perfect balance.The oval plate embedded in the stock is ideal for engraving initials.The barrels are cold hammer forged for concentricity andstrength and chrome lined for corrosion and wear resistance.Then they areperfectly polished and have a deep blued finish.

The ventilated competition rib is available with either a white target orfluorescent front sight.

National Proof House Year Stamp Markings

The "Banco Nazionale di Prova" (National Proof House) stamps all Italian manufactured firearms after proofing.The year stamp noted designates theyear of proof. In the case of new firearms the proof year corresponds to the year of manufacture.

Italian manufactured firearms only.The markings are most commonly found onthe receiver/frame and on the barrel.
