UPCOMING EVENTS!!

March 12th - Our next PTO meeting is Tuesday, March 12th at7pm, in Rockwell library (upstairs). We will go over all fundraisingevents and school events that have been completed and those that

are coming up. During each meeting we cover our budgetnformation and we really encourage other parents input. Togetherwe will make our childrens education a success!

Rockwell Reads Lunch Time Book Club

Your child has the opportunity to join the Rockwell Reads LunchTime Book Club. Students participating in the book club will beengaging in fun reading activities involving favorite poems every

Thursday for 4 weeks. The book club will beginThursday March14th and endThursday April 8th. Volunteers from the PTO will berunning the book clubs and working with children on the activities.

All book clubs will occur during the lunch period for each gradelevel. Your child will be eating lunch during the book club time. If

your child would like to participate please fill out the form that wassent home and return it to your childs teacher by March 11th. If

you have any questions regarding the club, feel free to contact IreneDrake (Grade 3 teacher), [email protected] or Jen DAmico,[email protected]. We hope you take advantage of this fun

and exciting opportunity.

Rockys Rembrandts!

Rocky's Rembrandts provides an opportunity for our students to share original

artworks and short writing from home. . Each grade level votes for their favoritepiece. The top three-to four pieces from each grade level are then hung on to theRocky's Rembrandts Gallery Wall in the hallway near the Cafetorium. Mr. Kirmilannounces the winners and all participants get a thank you note from Rocky tokeep up the great work and to keep trying. We will also be sharing pictures onour website,http://www.bethel.k12.ct.us/subsite/res/page/rockysrembrandtsonline-gallery-4508foreveryone's enjoyment.
