QPPSSA 2014 – 2015 Year 3/4 QPPSSA Football Tournament The Year 3/4 Boys’ A & B football Teams travelled to Doha College for a QPPSSA tournament and enjoyed a great day of sporting endeavour. Both sides started their respective competition well, winning three and drawing one of their pool matches. This placed both sides at the top of their pool. In the midday heat the semi-finals took place. The B team played first. They had countless shots on target and played by far the better football, but could not net the winning goal. A penalty shoot out ensued and they narrowly missed out on a place in the Final. The A team had an equally exciting semi-final, taking the lead early on, only for the opposition to peg one back, before scoring the winner with the last kick of the game. The boys put the disappointment of missing the Final to one side and both teams played their socks off in the 3rd -4th playoff to win the bronze medal.
