Lynn Schmidt is a highly accomplished and experienced talent management and human resources executive with significant expertise in establishing and implementing talent management strategies. She is a results focused leader with demonstrated impact on improving talent management processes and impacting business results.Lynn has over 20 years of experience as a global talent management and organization development executive in large Fortune 500 organizations across multiple industries including telecommunications, technology, finance, aerospace and defense, and healthcare. She has Global experience in implementing talent development solutions in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.She received the Talent Leadership Award at the World HRD Congress in Mumbai, India for her contributions to the field of talent development.
Most recently Lynn was based in Seattle, WA as the Talent Management Leader at Group Health Cooperative and had responsibility for succession management, leadership development, coaching, leader onboarding, and performance management. Prior to joining Group Health Lynn was the Director of Global Talent Management at Raytheon, SVP of Leadership Development at Countrywide Financial, and VP of Learning and Development at Charter Communications. She has more than 15 years of experience as an executive coach and has coached executive, mid-level and frontline leaders. Lynn served as the Director of Sponsorship on the International Coaching Federation Washington State Board of Directors.
Lynn has extensive expertise in analytics and evaluating the impact of talent management initiatives on the bottom-line. She is certified in ROI evaluation and was selected as the ROI Practitioner of the Year by the ROI Network. Lynn served as the Chair of the ASTD ROI Network Advisory Committee. Lynn is a sought after presenter for both national and international conferences and presents on a variety of topics including resiliency, leadership development, succession management, talent management scorecards, and coaching. She was an adjunct professor at both Marymount University and Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She is the author of several publications including Integrated Talent Management Scorecards: Insights from World-Class Organizations on Demonstrating Value, The Leadership Scorecard, and Implementing Training Scorecards. She is currently writing a book focused on women and resiliency.
Lynn has B.S. in Business Administration, an MBA, an M.A. in Human and Organizational Systems, and a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems. She received her Evidence Based Coaching Certification from Fielding Graduate University and was awarded her Associate Certified Coach credential by the International Coaching Federation.

Terms & Conditions: 1. Fees are in inclusive of programme materials and refreshments. 2. Payment Terms: Following completion and return of the registration form, full payment is required within 5 days from receipt of invoice. PLEASE NOTE: payment must be received prior to the conference or trainings date. A receipt will be issued on payment. Due to limited conference space, we advise early registration to avoid disappointment. A 50% cancellation fee will be charged under the terms outlined below. We reserve the right to refuse admission if payment is not received on time. Unless otherwise stated on the booking form, payment must be made in pounds sterling. 3. Cancellation/Substitution: Provided the total fee has been paid, substitutions at no extra charge up to 14 days before the event are allowed. Substitutions between 14 days and the date of the event will be allowed subject to an administration fee of equal to 10% of the total fee that is to be transferred. Otherwise all bookings carry a 50% cancellation liability immediately after a signed sales contract has been received by V4C (as defined above) Cancellations must be received in writing by mail or fax four (4) weeks before the conference is to be held in order to obtain a full credit for any future V4C conference. Thereafter, the full conference fee is payable and is non-refundable. The service charge is completely non-refundable and non-creditable. Payment terms are five days and payment must be made prior to the start of the conference. Non-payment or non-attendance does not constitute cancellation. By signing this contract, the client agrees that in case of dispute or cancellation of this contract that V4C will not be able to mitigate its losses for any less than 50% of the total contract value. If, for any reason, V4C decides to cancel or postpone this conference, V4C is not responsible for covering airfare, hotel, or other travel costs incurred by clients. The conference fee will not be refunded, but can be credited to a future conference. Event programme content is subject to change without notice. 4. Copyright etc.: All intellectual property rights in all materials produced or distributed by V4C in connection with this event is expressly reserved and any unauthorized duplication, publication or distribution is prohibited. 5. Client information is kept on V4Cs company database and used by V4C to assist in providing selected products and services which may be of interest to the Client and which will be communicated by letter, phone, fax,(Inc. automatic dialing) email or other electronic means. Important note: While every reasonable effort will be made to adhere to the advertised package, V4C reserves the right to change event dates, sites or location or omit event features, or merge the event with another event, as it deems necessary without penalty and in such situations no refunds, part refunds or alternative offers shall be made. In the event that V4C permanently cancels the event for any reason whatsoever, (including, but not limited to any force major occurrence) and provided that the event is not postponed to a later date nor is merged with another event, the Client shall receive a credit note for the amount that the Client has paid to such permanently cancelled event, valid for up to one year to be used at another V4C event. Governing law: This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the law of India and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Indian Constitution in Delhi. However V4C only is entitled to waive this right and submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in which the Clients office is located. 8. Once V4C enrolls participation from your organization for any event by this contract you authorize V4C to use your Logo for any of V4cs marketing purpose & Promotions.
