Montague Patent law mower, this mower is very lightweight and it actually cuts grass, it was made by the MONTAMOWER CO. on a patent issued AUG. 21, 1923. This one is in fine overall condition.

013._____ Unknown make No. 2 spade shovel with closed handle, very good overall. 014._____ Early 28 3/4-inch wooden jointer plane, likely of northern European origin, nice AH

touch mark on blade, nice bulbous rear handle, carved throat, very good overall. 015._____ Speed patent (U.S. No. 2,421,657) handsaw filing guide, very good overall. 016._____ Primitive copper's hoop dog, used by barrel makers to install the iron hoops to the outside of

barrels, complete and fine. 017._____ Hand forged 12-inch pair of dividers, complete and very good. 018._____ Large 24-inch pair of craftsman-made wooden dividers, very good overall. 019._____ Hand forged outside caliper, measures to about 19 1/2 inches, nice compression joint, very

good overall. 020._____ Nice pair of machine made wooden duck decoys; Mallard drake and a hen, both are very good

and have what appear to be glass eyes. 021._____ Pair of Stanley 9-inch smooth planes: Two-Tone #0H4 with maroon bed and yellow cap iron,

tote broken and glued, very good overall; and a DEFIANCE that is complete and fine. 022._____ Rockford R5 iron jack plane, top of original blade has been hammered on, but it's still very

good, little japanning remaining in bed, no structural damage or repairs, very good overall. 023._____ Pair of Stanley 9-inch smooth planes: DEFIANCE with orange painted tote and knob,

complete and fine; and a Two-Tone 0H4 with blue bed, yellow frog and cap iron, and black painted toe and knob, complete and fine.

025._____ Pair of 9-inch smooth planes: WARDS MASTER (Stanley) with hard rubber adjuster nut indicating this one was made during WWII, complete and fine; plus a late model H1204 Stanley with plastic or composite tote and knob, lever cap is cracked on one side of the pivot pin, very good overall.

026._____ Stanley BEDRCK 605C FT with SW logo blade, STANLEY lever cap, original decal on side of nice rosewood tote, good tall knob, some light rust on side, will clean to fine overall.

027._____ Stanley HANDYMAN H1203 8-inch smooth plane, complete and fine. 028._____ Two planes: Stanley-made #35-size transitional smooth plane, this one has the twisted lateral

lever which indicates that Stanley made for a hardware company, complete and very good overall; and a Stanley #4C iron smooth plane, good rosewood tote and tall knob, SW logo blade, complete and good overall.

029._____ Stanley #92 cabinet makers rabbet plane, this one has a previous owner's name lightly scratched into one side, otherwise it is complete, has the SW logo on the toe about 1/4 inch of usable length in the iron, very good overall.

030._____ Stanley #41 Millers Patent plow plane, early model with unslotted screws securing fence and no provision for a slitter or rear depth stop, comes with front depth stop, and set of 8 blades, just needs a fillister bed to complete, very good overall.

031._____ Three double ended alligator wrenches: THE K&B CO. SAXON NEW HAVEN, CONN., complete and very good; Edmonds Patent (U.S. No. 816,570) by the Edmonds-Metzel Mfg. Co. Chicago, Ill.; and THE S.andT. WRENCH stamped steel; all three have thread chasers in the handle, the S.andT. is a stamped steel wrench, all are very good.

032._____ Four odd ball wrenches: 326A6 with spanner at one end and a 7/8-inch open end at the other, very good; a 9-inch T262 1 1/8-inch offset box end, very good; PC No 23945 wrench double ended hex box, very good; and a Dodge Bros.? 1611-D 3/4 and 7/8-in. double open end, very good.

033._____ Three wrenches: 11 1/2-inch 427AB 7/8-in. offset open end, very good; 41-W-642-15 double offset open ends; and an oddball marked ECCENTRIC ADJUSTING WRENCH, fine.

034._____ Pair of H.D. SMITH "PERFECT HANDLE" pipe wrenches: one 8-inch and one 10-inch, the wood on the 8-inch is a bit dried out, otherwise both are complete and very good.

035._____ Four different wrenches: Stone Patent (U.S. No. 726,782) IDEAL buggy wrench, complete and fine; unknown make buggy wrench with big hex opening and three open ends one one end, very good; an International Harvester P890, very good; and a small PLANET JR. complete and fine.

036._____ Three 6-inch pipe wrenches from top to bottom: HOE CORP, complete and fine; unmarked, very good; and a fine WALWORTH STILLSON.

037._____ Three wooden handled monkey wrenches: 10-inch BEMIS & CALL combination pipe and nut wrench with long adjuster, complete and fine; 8-inch COES WRENCH CO. with slightly bent bar and cracked wooden handles; and 6-inch PS&W CLEVELAND, complete and very good.

It is

081._____ New old stock FULTON 5-foot cross cut saw Catalog No. 5917 Champ. Tooth, the heavy paper board box is chewed up on the ends, but the saw has a nice etch and the handles are very good.

082._____ Long 500-foot surveyors' tape with reel, the folding crank has had a wooden knob mounted on the end, so it can no longer be folded into the hole in the center, otherwise complete and very good.

083._____ Stanley YANKEE No. 3400 offset ratcheting screwdriver, complete and fine; plus a small brass patternmaker's shave with radiused bottom, complete and fine.

084._____ Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer folding steel rule, complete and very good. 085._____ Pair of small brass patternmaker's shaves, one with flat bottom and one radiused. 086._____ Early American Industries Association Bound Volumes 12 through 26, March, 1959 to

December 1973, published by the EAIA in 1983, a bit dusty from sitting on a shelf but in fine overall condition.

screwdriver bit secured to the stock with two zip ties, very good overall. 136._____ WEST-CUT BOULDER COLO sheath knife with original leather sheath, the knife is good

Davenport, Iowa. According to the Janet Meany book Rag Rug Handbook on p. 92, strips (of rag) were first packed into metal cylinders. The rag passed thru two friction rollers, and down into a funnel inserted into the open end of the cylinder. A crank was then turned allowing the rag to fold upon themselves in the funnel. This is the machine only, and it's very good. It would have come with a wooden box box containing 12 cylinders and a plunger.
