Dear Church Family,
It’s time to reignite! Are you ready for the embers of your faith to burn bright again? Have you suffered spiritual burnout? Do you long to grow closer to God? You are not alone! It’s time for the church in America to reignite. I firmly believe that there is a fresh wind of God ready to fan the flames of our faith right here in the CSRA!
According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, the word “reignite” is defined in two parts. First, the prefix “re-“ means to bring back to an original place or condition. The word “ignite” means to begin burning or give life or energy to something. This is exactly what we need in our spiritual journey. After stagnation and burnout in life, we need to be brought back to life. It’s time to start burning bright for our Lord once again.
In 2015, we will focus on fanning the flames in three critical areas: Reigniting our faith Reigniting our prayers Reigniting vision for our church
We will begin immediately in January with fuel to fan the flames of revival in our lives with the following opportunities for our church to unite in order to reignite.
1. Reignite! New Sermon Series Beginning on January 4 For the first three months of 2015, I will preach messages on reigniting our faith, our prayers and our vision.
2. Deeper Prayer – New Wednesday night beginning January 7 from 6:15- 7:15 This 12-week series will teach us how to deepen our prayer lives.
3. The Reignite Gathering – Sunday, January 25 – Wednesday, January 28 at 6:30 pm each night We will end the month of January with four consecutive nights of united prayer, praise and revival messages.
God has something great in store for First Baptist Church of North Augusta! Now is the time for us to listen to God and be ready to obey. This will only occur when the embers of faith in the heart of each member are reignited. Don’t miss out on God’s plans for 2015!
Your Pastor with great anticipation,
Ryan Pack
