Dr. Alexander Konopelko (1962-2012)
Dr. Konopelko was born in Kyrgyzstan and
came to the United States in 2005 from
Germany.
Dr. Konopelko joined the physics faculty at
Pittsburg State in 2008. He was well known
for his work in the field of astrophysics and
was also a prolific author involved in several
research projects.
Dr. Chistopher Ibeh (1953-2012)
Dr. Ibeh was born in Nigeria and came to
the United States in the 1970s.
Dr. Ibeh joined the plastics technology
faculty at Pittsburg State in 1990. He was
well known for his work in the field of
nanotechnology and was a prolific author,
with more than 50 published works.
