The upperage limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC/Women categories, by 10 years forcandidates being Persons with disabilities, and by the total period of service rendered in defence service in caseof Ex servicemen. However only one type of age relaxation is permissible as per Rules. Further, in case it later transpires that he/she did not fulfil any of the laid-downcriteria or suppressed material facts, the candidature of the applicant will stand cancelled, irrespectiveof the result of the written test. v) Such candidates who use a scribe shall be eligible for extra time of20 minutes for every hour of the examination. 8. A visually handicapped (low vision) is a personwith impairment of visual functioning even after treatment or standard refractive correction but whouses or is potentially capable of using vision for the planning or execution of a task with appropriateassistive device. 8. Pay, allowances, perquisites and terms of appointment: The present payscales are as under: Post: Assistant Manager-Grade A.
