Age:The minimum age for the post is 21 years and the maximum age is 32 years of age as on 01.01.2012. The upperage limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC/Women categories, by 10 years forcandidates being Persons with disabilities, and by the total period of service rendered in defence service in caseof Ex servicemen. However only one type of age relaxation is permissible as per Rules. To be eligible ,acandidate not enjoying any relaxation of upper age limit must not have been born earlier than 2nd January ,1980and not latter than 1st January ,1991. Reservations for the SC, the ST and OBC applicants would beextended as per rules or guidelines of the Government of India. Applicable reservation percentageis 15% for SC category, 7.5% for ST Category & 27% for OBC category. Reservation @4.50% forminorities within OBC Category is subject to court decision in this regard. ii. Reservation for PhysicallyHandicapped (PH) applicants or Person with Disabilities (PWD) @ 3% of the identified posts wouldalso be extended. In terms of the Government of India guidelines, these vacancies are not identified for persons in theHearing Handicapped (HH) category and persons suffering from Blindness (total loss of vision) in VHcategory. The minimum disability in case of PWD applicants is moderate i.e. 40%. The maximumdisability would be as per extant guidelines of Government of India. The PWD applicants shouldpossess a latest certificate to the effect with sub-category of disability [visually handicapped (lowvision) and orthopedically handicapped (OH) only] issued by the Board or countersigned by theMedical Superintendent or Chief Medical Officer or Head of Hospital of Government. An Orthopedically handicappedperson is one who is suffering from Locomotor Disability or Cereberal palsy. - Locomotor disability:"Locomotor disability" means disability of the bones, joints or muscles leading to substantial restrictionof the movement of the limbs or any form of cerebral palsy. - Cerebral Palsy: "Cerebral Palsy" meansa group of non-progressive conditions of a person characterised by abnormal motor control postureresulting from brain insult or injuries occurring in the prenatal, peri-natal or infant period ofdevelopment. - All the cases of orthopedically handicapped persons would be covered under thecategory of "locomotor disability or cerebral palsy." b. A visually handicapped (low vision) is a personwith impairment of visual functioning even after treatment or standard refractive correction but whouses or is potentially capable of using vision for the planning or execution of a task with appropriateassistive device. 8. Pay, allowances, perquisites and terms of appointment: The present payscales are as under: Post: Assistant Manager-Grade A. Consolidated Remuneration / Scale: Inthe scale of Rs. 14400-1000(19)-33400-1250(6)-40900 (26 yrs). In addition to the pay, the selectedapplicant will be eligible for allowances, perquisites and benefits as applicable to the Grade as per

Bank's rules, prevalent at the time of joining. Appointment for the posts of Assistant Manager-GradeA will be on probation for a period of 1 year from the date of joining and can be extended at thediscretion of the Bank.
