Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence(Navy) reserves the right to short-list applications and to fix cut off percentage. No communicationwill be entertained on this account. SSB interviews for short-listed candidates will be scheduled atBangalore/Bhopal/Coimbatore during Jul - Nov 2012. (b) Stage I test, consisting of IntelligenceTests, Picture Perception and Discussion Tests will be conducted on the second day of arrival atSSB. Candidate who fail to qualify in Stage I will be routed back on the same day. Stage II Testscomprising of Psychological Testing, Group Testing and Interview will last for 04 days. Successfulcandidates will thereafter undergo Medical examination (approx duration 03-05 days). (c) Candidatesrecommended by the SSBs and declared medically fit, will be appointed for training in order of AllIndia Merit depending on the number of vacancies. (d) Change of SSB venue for interview is not

    permissible. (e) Any correspondence regarding change of SSB dates be addressed to the Presiof the concerned SSB on receipt of call up letter. Award of fresh dates for SSB would be subjecavailability. (b) DUTIESAIR TRAFFIC CONTROL OFFICER - The Indian Navy operates various types of modern aircraft shore based airfields as well as from ships. Insurance cover of Rs. 40 lakhs (on contribution) Gratuity will be granted to the officer as per the latest rules in force. 18. Leave EntitlementsCommission, officers are entitled to 60 days annual and 20 days casual leave every year (subjecservice exigencies). They are also entitled for 40% rail concession to any place and free travel (asextant rules) for self and family. Leave during training period will be as per the Training Policforce. 19. Sports & Adventure. The Navy provides facilities to pursue any sport of your likingaddition, one can learn and participate in adventure sports, such as river rafting, mountaineerhot air ballooning, hang gliding, wind surfing etc. 20. Physical Fitness. In Naval Academy curricua lot of emphasis is laid on physical fitness. You are therefore, advised to remain fit by undertaregular physical exercises, sports, running, swimming, etc. so that you meet the training gsuccessfully.

    II. Definition of Disabilities: (A) Hearing Impairment: Hearing impairment means loss of 60 decibels

    or more in the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies. (B) Locomotors Disability:Locomotors Disability means disability of the bones, joints or muscles leading to substantial restrictionof movement of the limbs or any form of cerebral palsy. (C) Cerebral Palsy means a group of non-progressive conditions of a person characterized by abnormal motor control posture resulting frombrain insult or injuries occurring in the pre-natal, peri-natal or infant period of development. All thecases of orthopedically handicapped persons would be covered under the category of locomotorsdisability or cerebral palsy. III. Competent Authority to issue Disability Certificate: The CompetentAuthority to issue a Disability Certificate shall be a Medical Board duly constituted by the Central orState Government. The Central/State Government may constitute Medical Board(s) consisting of atleast three members out of which at lease one should be a specialist in the particular field forassessing locomotor/ cerebral/hearing/visual disability, as the case may be. The Medical Boardshall, after due examination, give a permanent disability certificate in cases of such permanentdisabilities where there are no chances of variation in the degree of disability. The Medical Boardshall indicate the period of validity of the certificate, in cases where there are chances of variationin the degree of disability. NOTE: The physically disabled candidates need not apply against anypost(s), which are not identified/suitable for that particular type of Physical Disability. (07) GUIDELINESFOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION: i) Eligible applicants are required to apply On-line. The On-line Application Form will be available on Ordnance Factory Boards website through a linkwww.ofindia.gov.in . Recruitment in Gun Carriage Factory .
