26th Comunication 19/09/2018
This september 19th is a day well expected by capitulars with enthusiasm¡ We have audience with Pope Francis! Can we speak to him? It seems a picture with him is almost sure and …. have a look at the pictures, from early morning (6.00 a.m.) all have put on their «glad rags». There are many white blouses and brown skirts (or atleast skirts). See properly, look….
Liturgy was animated by Europe and Fr. Alejandro Salazar, Colombian , administrator of Teresianum, presided over the Eucharist at 6.30 a.m.,
Today everything is fast, as if we are hearing already the Pope.
Threat of rain. Will it rain? Will it not rain? I have umbrella, I don’t have it. Will it be outside, will it be inside?
Yes, everyone quickly on a long row and….
it seems, we have made a mistake of entrance gate and…. it was late, and standing at one side (more or less), nothing happened. We happened to be where the «common people» were and from there we couldn’t move.
It seems our 55 seats were occupied. Over-booking!
¡What a traffic jam on the way to Vatican!
How many queues to walk through security!
From 7.45 a.m.we were waiting for the bus which did not arrive until 8.10 a.m..
Have you noticed how elegant we were despite the threat of rain?
Do not lose sight of white blouses because it’s important.
To access St. Peter’s Square you need to go through tight security.
The title of the visual test: Look for your sisters.
Key: Look for white shirts
Pope Francis is here
Some of us are here
The scattered sisters
“you say
that he will
pass by”
but from
where ? Searching for Carmelite
Missionaries
Domingo, día del Señor, y aunque los
En el momento del perdón hemos sido
La hemos celebrado en la Iglesia, la anima
How is that
there is «over
booking»?
Here also?
We can’t
see
anything
May be they will let us
when everything gets over!
We had to be satisfied with this picture. Some are scattered already in the rain.
And this had been the day of papal audience. Oh! How many people in St. Peter’s square!
How many people in the Vatican, in the shops, in the bars, in the streets!
What a mess of buses!
Finally we were able to reach home for lunch followed by a well-deserved siesta! Afternoon was semi-free. I say «semi» because though there is no time-table until 7:30 p.m. we will pray vespers, we have to make personal reflection on Chapter VII: Formation (Constitutions and Norms), and it is but very very long.
Alright! Here is the most wanted picture of the one behind the camera ! I too am here!
And before ending the chronicle of today a rectification of an omission in that of yesterday : we are not 16 different nationalities , but 17. I missed Nigeria and the ever smiling representation of Sr. Theresa. Sorry, excuse me!
Nigeria
But where did the Carmelite
Missionaries go?
I am sure that they will pray
for me.
Of course Holy Father!
