WHY IS PEBBLE BEACH VILLAGE SO SUCCESSFUL? A sound marketing policy, particularly in the U.K., has been largely responsible for generating such a remarkable success story for Pebble Beach Village with the day to day running of our U.K. sales office amiably directed by Roger Saunders of Topaz Properties Tenerife Ltd., our principal U.K. sales agent. Such a strong marketing effort generated in excess of 1300 sales enquiries during 1987 and already by the end of the first quarter of 1988 over 1,000 sales enquiries from advertising alone had been handled by our U.K. office in Hastings. The numerous exhibitions organised by Roger Saunders over the last 6 months have also created a lot of interest in Pebble Beach Village and many sales were achieved as a direct result of our participation at those venues listed in our last issue. One of the principal functions of our U.K. operation is to organise inspection flights-to Tenerife for those clients sufficiently serious in their intentions to invest in property at Pebble Beach Village. Upon arrival at the airport Reina Sofia, only 10 minutes drive from our development, our clients are met by a Pebble Beach Village representative and escorted to their four-star hotel in Playa de las Americas, where accommodation is provided during their stay. With the back up of sales support material, including a promotional video and a huge model of the development, our professional on-site sales team adopt a relaxed but serious approach to all clients who are taken on a full tour of the Village, it's future facilities and the surrounding Amarilla Golf & Country Club. EDITORIAL Since our first issue of 'the Villager' a great deal has taken place not only on our development site but also within the company in general as the following : pages will bear witness. We are delighted to report that sales of apartments, which is our real 'raison d'etre', remain excellent as the figures show. Such a continuing strong demand, we feel, underlines just how good our product is and with the release of Project PISCES imminent as we go to press, we remain very optimistic about the continuing success of Pebble Beach Village, surely now one of Europe's most successful freehold leisure resorts. We are very pleased to now report that CREDITO Y CAUCION, one of Spain's leading insurance companies has agreed to offer this unconditionally to all clients purchasing an apartment at Pebble Beach Village with the premium for the policy being included in the purchase price of the apartment. This decision was made effective to all apartment purchasers on or after February 1st, 1988. This automatic insurance cover protects the client from loss of monies paid in the unlikely event that Pebble Beach Village should cease trading and not be able to complete the client's apartment.
