1.  SCOPE

This addendum specification and its attachments cover the requirements for Welding and

Inspection Requirements for Equipment not Covered by Recognised Standards (e.g. packaged

equipment).

This specification should be read in conjunction with the attached Design General Specification

Welding and Inspection Requirements for Equipment Not Covered by Recognized Standards or

Codes, No. DGS-MW-007 and the specific requirements of the requisition(s) in which it isincorporated.

2.  AMENDMENTS

The following amendments and additions shall apply to Design General Specification,

DGS-MW-007 Revision 1.

2.1.  Amendments to Section 1 – Introduction

1.3 Definitions

The following definitions shall be added under “General Definitions”

COMPANY – shall be defined as ABU DHABI OIL REFINING COMPANY (TAKREER)

CONTRACTOR – shall be defined as the organisation to which TAKREER award the

Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) phase.

MANUFACTURER/VENDOR – shall be defined as the supplier of equipment and support

services for a particular piece of equipment/package

2.2.  Amendments to Section 3 – Reference Documents

Replace listed Reference Documents with the following:
