Sodexo is a multinational company providing a wide range of quality of life services, including employee benefits, rewards and consumer promotions. In the UK, this was previously handled by 11 different brands over 15 different websites.
BriefIn 2017, they decided it was time for a clean slate, and came to Splitpixel to develop one new website for all of their products, services, and marketing activity. The new website needed to retain the traffic from the 15 legacy sites, and generate new leads more effectively.
Splitpixel audited all 15 sites to understand exactly what was featured, worked out exactly what the new site would need to do to offer a more streamlined proposition, and converted this into an engaging and modern website design.
SolutionA lot of different visual elements bring everything to life. Bold sliders, expanding sections, and subtle animations,
along with plenty of big images, keep everything sectioned off and easy to read. Splitpixel’s content team also wrote copy for the new site’s 130 service pages.
The build used a lot of different features to make such a large site, with a really diverse range of products and purposes, work the way it needed to, with a large range of individual page layouts used to make sure everything is easy to update for Sodexo’s content teams without losing any flexibility.
ResultOnce launched, the site had an immediate organic reach, with no loss of traffic – and retained a strong keyword rank from the legacy sites. Within two months, the site had generated 600 enquiries. Splitpixel continue to support Sodexo with website maintenance and marketing activity.
