Go Robotics…

In the next club meetings, they

will create and program robots

to perform some tasks. We are

looking forward to see more

talented students to be included

in our IJPS Robotics Team.

After the big success our Robotics Teams achieved in the recently

held WRO UAE National last October 2, 2011 in which we won 2

first place awards for the Regular Competition and Second place in

the Open Category, we have started to organize this year's Robotic

Club. The aim of this club is to develop our student's critical

thinking ability and robotic skills to prepare them for the next year's

WRO competition.

The club's first batch is composed of 25 students from grades 4-8.

They were divided into 5 groups and were provided with basic

LEGO kits for the last 2 club sessions. They were given tasks to

create models without any guide to test their creativity and

manipulative skills.

Chocolate Cake….

It's yummy!! Weekly Activity for the first week of the new

academic year was Chocolate Cake Making

Day!

It was a nice start for them to welcome their

new classmates and enjoy making cake with

them.

Children learned the easiest way of making

delicious chocolate cake in this activity.
