• Direct drive tilt operation for positive control when opening and closing the louvers

• Self-aligning carrier trucks have limit stops, providing louvre rotation to 1850

• Carrier Truck spacing controlled by stainless steel spacer links for extra durability

Vertical Blinds should be manufactured using the Louvolite Maestro® System with aluminium headrail 48mm x 28mm and include Louvolite wheeledcarriertruckswithstabilisingfinsandUVstabilisedself-aligningpeghooks.TheoperatingchainshouldbeNo6sizemetaltoensurereliableperformance.Thebracketsusedshouldbemadefrommildsteel,zincplatedandpowdercoatedandbesuitablefortoporfacefixing.The material used for the vertical louvre will be creased and punched so that a Louvolite UV stabilised hanger – also with a hole – can be stitched orweldedintothetopofthelouvre.

General applicationsVertical blinds incorporating the Maestro® headrail system provide a contemporary and extremely practical commercial installation andareavailablefromapprovedmanufacturersworldwide.Itisarobustandreliablesystemthathasbeenspecifiedforover20years.Thesystemiseasilyfittedandprovidesanextremelyefficientmethodoflightcontrol.Alargerangeofattractiveflameretardantfabrics,andsomefeaturinganti-glareSPC®andblackoutcoatingsmaketheseblindstheidealchoiceforprojectslargeorsmall.Thefabricsaredesignedspecificallyforwindowblinds.

Headrail TheMaestro®aluminiumheadrailextrusionismadefromprimealuminiumandisavailableinawhitepowdercoatedfinish,whichmakesitcorrosionresistant.Bracketsarezincplatedorpowdercoatedandmanufacturedwithastrengtheningcreaseforincreasedstrengthandsafety.

Carrier TrucksToensureapositiveandsmoothoperationwithintheheadrail,allcarriersaremanufacturedusingprimequalityplasticmaterials.ThisalsoprovidesdurabilityandprotectionfromembrittlementandUVrays.Thegearsinthecarriertrucksthatrotatethelouvresareself-aligningwithlimitstops.Thisrestrictslouvrerotationto185º.Whichallowsanefficientclosurewithoutstrainonthemechanism.Thespacingbetweenthecarriertrucksiscontrolledbyhigh-gradestainlesssteelspacerlinks.Thestandardspacingiseither77mmfor89mmlouversor115mmfor127mmlouvres,althoughalternativespacingoptionsareavailable.UVstabilisedlouvrehangersaremanufacturedusingNylonNo.6plastic.

MaintenanceAlloftheMaestro®componentsaremanufacturedusingaluminium,plasticorstainlesssteel.Theydonotpresentanycorrosionproblemsinnormalenvironments.Thesystemhasbeendesignedforasmoothoperation,togetherwitharigiditytoprolongthewindowblind’s workinglife.Anydamagewhichdoesoccur,cannormallyberectifiedonsite.
