The cutter suction dredgers are fitted with:

� Three spuds; one working spud, installed in the spud carrier, one auxiliary spud

and one spare spud.

� One hydraulically operated spudcarrier.

� Two anchor booms of 40 metres length, suitable for 15-ton Flipper Delta

anchors

� One travelling deck crane with two main hoists each of a 350 kN SWL;

maximum outreach with 700 kN load is 15 m.

� Cutter work platform

� Two barge loading systems into barges (one at PS and one at SB)

� Fitted with a swivel for discharge through a floating pipeline

� Fitted with a barge mooring system consisting of four constant tensioning

mooring winches. The hull is suitable reinforced for a fendering system.

VER scope of work For Jan de Nul N.V. Vuyk Engineering Rotterdam prepared an comprehensive set

of drawings and calculations consisting of:

� Main part of the basic design, executed in close cooperation with the owners.

� Detailed engineering of the spudcarrier (including FEA) and varying deck and

dredging related equipment.
