1. Presentation of the group

GdR TherMatHT (https://www.thermatht.fr/ ) is the formal French representative and member of

the APDIC. It is a Research Network (Groupement de Recherche) labelled by the CNRS existing since

January 2013. It is headed by Olivier Dezellus and gathers all the French activities on the

thermodynamic of the materials at high temperature, including a significant contribution to the

phase diagrams of alloys and ceramics.

2. Group activities in 2018

2018 was marked by the launch of an internal call dedicated to finance internal research projects

involving, in particular, younger researchers (internship, PhD students, post-docs). After the success

of the first year, the call was reopen in 2019.

A bibliographic library was opened to gather all the publications made by the group. It can be

alimented and viewed at https://hal.archives-ouvertes.fr/GDR_THERMATHT/

A facility was created representing a skill inventory of the different members of the GdR. It can be

found at https://www.thermatht.fr/bdd-liste-enregistrements/. A search can be made according to

different criteria like skills, or systems of interest.

The Annual meeting of the GdR TherMatHT was held in Marcoule January 26-27, 2018.

3.1 Conference Matériaux 2018

The largest French conference on materials, held every 4 years, has been organized in Strasbourg,

November 19-23, 2018. It gathered more than 800 people.

5. List of publications

Two lists of publications related to phase diagrams are given. They are meant to describe the activity

of France in the field of phase diagrams for the year 2018.

The first list has been obtained using Web of Science with the following key: Topic='phase diagram',

Address='France', Year='2018'. The initial result (~400 publications) was sorted and only the

publications which seem really related to phase diagram studies are given below (65 entries). Note

that the list is probably non-exhaustive and some of the listed papers are only slightly related to

phase diagrams studies in the meaning of the APDIC.

The second list is taken from the internal database of our GdR group. As it fed by the different

members of the group, it is probably neither exhaustive nor up-to-date (22 entries).
