Parking/School Lane

We continue to experience cars driving along and parking on the lane or on the zig zags on the main road. On occasions, children are having to walk on the road as cars are parked on the pavement. THIS IS NOT SAFE! The school lane is a very narrow road, which is to be used for access only. Whilst we

appreciate that parking around the green area can be inconvenient, we politely request that for the safety of all children and families that cars are not driven along the lane.

Could you please forward this information with relatives who may not access text messages and

newsletters. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Attendance/Punctuality

The children in school challenged the staff to perform the minions’ ‘banana’ rap in assembly, after every class reached their attendance target!

We are DELIGHTED to inform you that every class in school met the attendance target of 95.5% week beginning 13th April, and that we owe the children yet another challenge! All classes moved

along our ’attendance drive’ in the school hall in week 1 of Summer term, which is wonderful to see!

Class 2 and Class 3 were successful in reaching the end of the drive in Spring Term, and will receive a class treat as a reward!

Well done everyone, and thank you!

Family stars - Swallows!

Congratulations to the ‘Swallow’ family who together collected the most ‘Family Points’ in Spring Term! The Swallows will receive a treat this term!

We look forward to seeing who our Summer Term ‘Family Stars’ are! We welcome individual ‘Family Star’ nominations from Parents and family members. If you would like to nominate a ‘family star’, you can do so by posting the name and the reason why in the

‘birdbox’ in the entrance.

Thank you for your support during ‘The Big Pedal’ from 2nd - 20th March. Despite a slow (snowy!) start, we completed 360 journeys altogether, and won an extreme mountain bike stunt

show in school!

All children in school were treated to a show from world champion Danny Butler, and his brother Ashley. They performed some amazing stunts on their bikes for us all to enjoy. Thank

you Ashley and Danny for a great show!
