Pictures will be taken and shared with the group. Recognition - Pennsville Police Department and Chief Cummings were honored by the coalition for their installation of an RX drug drop box in their station. Pennsville LMTI leader Stacy Eckler and student Chris Rivera made the presentation at a well-attended municipal meeting. PRIDE surveys Beth presented information at the Salem County SuperintendentsRoundtable meeting, in hopes of gaining their support when the coalition reaches out to the high school principals in March. The hope is to have the schools conduct the survey in the fall. New Business: RX Conference and Community Event Planning is shaping up for a full day conference on May 7 and an evening presentation on May 28. Coalition members are urged to attend at least one of the events as a show of support. We can offer Addictions Cert Board credits such as CPS and CADC, in addition to Department of Education CEUs. Beth will look into being able to offer nursing CEUs as well. Sticker Shock Campaigns 3 campaigns are being planned for April as part of Alcohol Awareness Month. Communications Officer Unfortunately due to job responsibility reassignment in Salem County, Kathleen Pompper will no longer be available to attend our meetings. My thanks for all of her hard work during the last year! Roundtable: Don - The coalition has been asked to write letters to Bill Kane, one of the writers of a bill before the NJ Senate requiring a certain number of SACS per population of a school district. This bill is currently stalled, and support from the public may help move it along. Beth will send a template sample, but each letter should be slightly different. Beth will also send information on who to send it to.

Introductions: 9:05 AM

Emma – March 19 is Kick Butt’s Day. Reporting for Kim Burns of the Smoke Free for a

Healthy NJ Coalition - the grant has been extended for another year, until March, 2015.

Please let CVS know that you support their decision to no longer sell tobacco products.

Theodora – A recent Inspira conference successfully registered 17 doctors for the state’s

Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP).
