By examining different would views and exploring how they have developed Abbott shows how we can come a step closer to understanding others and avoiding themistakes of the past.

How were my views and opinions challenged or changed by this textAs this book communicate with me well as Im going through reading this bookAs the author questioned me, the reader many questions before he stated his opinion on this various questions.Although there are some statements that the author stated challenged my viewsE.g. when the author stated that the cause of 9/11, the hijacking case of several commercial planes were actually cause by the Muslims, well its not really true as the American already done some investigation and proved that its not a terrorist incidentBut overall, I do agree with most part of the book as its bail the human rightsThings that this book address, personally I care about considered it important to the world There are few things that I considered it important to me is about racism and the human rightsThis book explained how bad racism problem in AmericaAs Im soon will go to America, this book more or less, help me to be more prepared to faced the culture and difficulties faced by the Americans
