Good Harbor Vineyards Sleeping Bare Sparkling Brut Following the announcement by Good Morning America in August 2010 that the Sleeping Bear Dunes was voted the most beautiful place in America, people have been flocking from all corners of the world to experience the natural beauty located in Northern Michigan. This sparkling wine was produced using the Charmat method to keep the fruit flavors found in Chardonnay up front and present on the nose and palate. This wine has layers of apple flavors and toasty notes complemented by a creamy texture with a clean long finish. White Sparkling Wine Les Rocailles Apremont A true earthly paradise nestled in the French Alps, Les Rocailles is owned and managed by boyhood friends and native Savoyards Guillaume Durand and Alban Thouroude, who purchased the estate and negociant business from Pierre Boniface upon his retirement in 2006. Delicate and feather-light, this wine offers green apple and floral aromas on the nose. On the palate, it is dry and extremely refreshing with crystal-clear purity. Dry White Detroit Vineyards Traminette Traminette, a French-American hybrid grape that is well-suited for Michigan winters, shares the characteristics of its parent, Gewurztraminer. This semi-sweet white wine features floral aromas on the nose and a balance of sweetness and acidity on the palate. A mild spice finish rounds out this easy-drinking wine. Dry Rosé Indigenous Nebbiolo d’Alba Founded in 2006, INDIGENOUS Selections represents a collection of carefully selected Italian wineries that produce the finest and most authentic Italian wines. Light red in color, this wine features an elegant bouquet of ripe cherry, black currant, dry rose petal and mine. Sweet red cherries, flower and spices create a juicy wine with plenty of mid-palate fruit with excellent grip. Fruity Dry Red The VIP Lounge is located at the outdoor patio near Pure Greens. Live music will be performed by Chanah Ambuter. Zookeeper Talks The Zoo is open to explore until dark.
