Federation was selected to design and

build a sales oil butane blending system at

Osum's Orion SAGD facility. Injection of

butane in the sales oil process stream

decreases the volume of diluent required

to meet sales product specifications and

therefore reduces operating costs.

As EPC contractor Federation performed

engineering & design, procurement &

expediting, construction and

commissioning support. The integrated

concept to production in 8 months - all

during a global pandemic.
