WEA Trust regional plans are offered in three separate service

areas. Each service area operates independently with its own

provider network, and all come with WEA Trust’s well-known

service and care.

The 40-county East Service Area offers a variety of provider systems,

including Aurora Health Care, Ascension Wisconsin1, Aspirus Health

Care, Marshfield Clinic, Bellin Health, UW Hospitals & Clinics and

many others. The service area includes: Adams, Brown, Calumet,

Columbia, Dodge, Door, Fond Du Lac, Forest*, Green Lake, Jefferson,

Juneau, Kenosha, Kewaunee, Langlade, Lincoln, Manitowoc,

Marathon, Marinette, Marquette, Menominee, Milwaukee, Oconto,

Oneida, Outagamie, Ozaukee, Portage, Price, Racine, Rock, Shawano,

Sheboygan, Taylor, Vilas, Walworth, Washington, Waukesha, Waupaca,

Waushara, Winnebago and Wood counties.

*Limited Service Area. 1 Excludes Affinity Health System for 2021.

In addition to Mayo Clinic Health System providers in both the Eau

Claire and La Crosse areas, this network includes Essentia Health

and several other providers in northern Wisconsin. The service area

includes: Ashland*, Barron, Bayfield*, Buffalo*, Burnett, Chippewa,

Crawford, Douglas, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe,

Pepin*, Pierce*, Polk, Rusk*, Sawyer, St. Croix, Trempealeau, Vernon

and Washburn counties.

Multiple provider systems are featured in this 18-county

service area, including Marshfield Clinic, Essentia Health, St.

Croix Medical Center and others. This service area includes:

TRUST OUR MEDICARE COVERAGE

REGIONAL HEALTH PLANS for Medicare Members

As the only Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) option among the regional health plans in the Group Health

Insurance Program, WEA Trust health plans pay secondary to Medicare regardless of where the provider is

located, as long as the provider accepts Medicare payment.

Medicare retirees have the option to either select or continue with our East, West-Mayo Clinic Health System or

West-Chippewa Valley service areas. These plan options allow you to keep your Uniform Benefits coverage and the

outstanding service provided through WEA Trust.

MEDICARE 101

MEDICARE PART A

• Inpatient: covers hospital, skilled nursing facilities, etc.

• Typically, your Medicare Part A has no premium.

This coverage comes automatically from the Federal Government.

MEDICARE PART B

• Outpatient: covers doctor visits, specialty care, therapy, durable medical

equipment, emergency room and urgent care visits, etc.

• For Medicare Part B, there is a premium based on your income.

This can be paid through Social Security or out of pocket and

requires members to enroll.

DRUG PLAN (PART D) All IYC Health Plans include Navitus MedicareRx, offered by Navitus
