Below is a sample recommended timetable that adheres to the National Education Standards Authority (NESA) requirements for each key learning area.
We recommend that you follow this routine as much as possible according to what works in your house.
The following equates to one week of work and is applicable to all year groups.

*Ask someone to help you collect 10 to 20 objects. Practice counting the collection of objects, forwards and backwards.

*Write the numbers 0-12 on the left hand side of a piece of paper.
*On the right hand side draw pictures and objects to match the numbers to the left.
*Can you continue past 15? Have a go.

*Place the toy on a chair.
*Place the toy under the table.
*Position the toy in between two objects.
*Place the toy next to your bed.
*Discuss the position words that were used to place the toy around the house.

You may choose to collage it using craft objects or leaves.
Geography
Draw and label your favourite Australian animal You may choose a kangaroo, koala, blue tongue lizard, cockatoo, echidna, wombat….
