Union County Fair Junior Auction SALE ORDER Live Auction: Saturday, Aug 7st, 2021 5:15 p.m. On-Line bidding begins: Friday, Aug 6, 2021 12:00 p.m.

Fill your freezer with quality meats Welcome to the Union County Fair Junior Auction. This sale is made possible by the efforts of the Union County Fair Board; the Union County Fair Auction Committee; the FFA Chapter’s –J.D. Cant of Imbler, Katie Titus of La Grande, Karie Kelley of Union, Daniel Bolen of Elgin, Brendan Kelley of Cove, and Carole Smith and Honour Bowen of the OSU Union County 4-H & Extension Office; and the work of the many, many volunteers. Payment at the close of sale will be appreciated as we will be trying to pay the kids as soon as possible. Our Barn Auction Office will remain open for approximately one hour after the last bid. Fair will send you a statement immediately after the sale. Buyer numbers will be available online after 12:00 pm Friday August 6th or at 3:30 pm at the livestock office on sale day, August 7th. Buyers BBQ begins at 4:00pm, a buyer’s number or card is your admission. The online registration, bidding, add-ons and payments are available after 12:00 on August 6th at: https://auction.showorks.cloud/fair/union Buyer Addon’s can be done online until August 13th at 6 PM. For each individual species, the sale order is based on highest quality animals listed first with lesser quality animals listed last (based on our judge’s opinion). Champion and Reserve Animals will lead the sale order with class winners (heaviest to lightest) following the champion animals. Animals with red ribbons will be at the end of the sale order. Beef, hogs, lambs and goats sell with a 3% body weight shrink.

RESALE OPTION: Example, if you bid $500 for a 100 pound lamb and the floor price is $2.00/lb, you pay only the difference - $300 LOCKER MEAT OPTION: Example, if you want to keep the meat for your freezer, you pay the bid price and can have the following local businesses process your meat.
