DAY 1: DEPART FOR ICELAND
DAY 2: REYKJAVÍK, ICELANDThe northernmost capital in the world, Reykjavík blends ancient maritime history and Nordic tradition with an effervescent modern edge. Enhance your experience with an optional Go Next Reykjavík Pre-Cruise Program.
DAY 3: ÍSAFJÖRÐUR, ICELANDSurrounded by rugged mountain peaks, the capital of the Westfjords is a rustic and bustling town. WIth some of Iceland’s best-preserved eighteenth-century architecture, Ísafjörður celebrates its heritage at the West Fjords Folk Museum, which includes the country’s oldest house, Tjöruhúsið.
DAY 4: HÚSAVÍK, ICELANDDeep seafaring traditions pervade the picturesque town of Húsavík, one of the oldest settlements in Iceland. This tiny town boasts popular whale-watching tours—humpback, minke, and massive blue whales favor the area’s plankton-rich waters.
DAY 5: CRUISING THE NORWEGIAN SEA
DAY 6: KLAKSVÍK, FAROE ISLANDS, DENMARKSet in a sheltered harbor amidst an unusual sculpted mountain landscape, Klaksvík is the second-largest city in the Faroe Islands. Take in views of Pyramid Mountain, or visit Christian's Church, featuring a nineteenth-century wooden boat hanging from the rafters.
DAY 7: LERWICK, SHETLAND ISLANDS, SCOTLANDThe Shetland Islands offer a striking snapshot of rugged moors, � ower-� lled meadows, and petite Shetland ponies. Lerwick was founded by Dutch � shermen in the seventeenth century and today is a cosmopolitan seaport.
DAY 8: BERGEN, NORWAYReturn to the past in Norway’s medieval capital, Bergen. Glimpse its cultural history at the Hanseatic Museum or tour the thirteenth-century Rosenkrantz Tower, with panoramic views of the seaport.
DAY 9: STAVANGER, NORWAYStroll the tidy cobblestone lanes of Old Stavanger—many of the preserved white wooden cottages ornamented with � oral trellises have been converted into art galleries and boutiques. Hike the nature trails along the banks of the nearby Lysefjorden, or view the countryside from Pulpit Rock.
DAY 10: KRISTIANSAND, NORWAYStep into the vibrant energy of Kristiansand, featuring upscale shopping and restaurants, a lovely beach, and a charming old quarter lined with wooden houses.
DAY 11: OSLO, NORWAYFramed by lakes, moors, and dense forests at the head of a sixty-mile-long fjord is the sophisticated capital of Norway. Oslo is a blend of stunning natural beauty and thriving urban atmosphere.
DAY 12: GOTHENBURG, SWEDENGothenburg, with its green spaces, graceful mix of old and new architecture, and colorful festivals, is set to become Sweden’s thriving cultural heart. This former ship-building town buzzes with life in its cozy cafés and bistros, seafood restaurants, and lavish boutiques.
DAY 13: LÜBECK (TRAVEMÜNDE), GERMANYThe founding capital of the Hanseatic League, this thriving provincial city enchants visitors with its Gothic architecture and spired churches. Lübeck still displays its medieval prosperity—the town is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
DAY 14: COPENHAGEN, DENMARKDisembark and extend your adventure with an optional Go Next Copenhagen Post-Cruise program.
