In the spirit of 2020, and with the ongoing challenges, the usual VCE Englishes Days will be available as online sessions, including live online sessions as well as pre-recorded sessions which can be viewed at your convenience. Overview of program Live sessions 4.30pm - 6.00pm (online via Zoom) Thursday 11 February: VCE Units 1-2 for new teachers Caitlin Penrose, Montmorency Secondary College Wednesday 17 February: VCE Units 3-4 for new teachers Christine Lambrianidis, Point Cook Senior Secondary College These live, new teachers’ sessions will begin with an overview of Units 1 and 2, and Units 3 and 4 (key skills, knowledge, etc.) and then provide a deep dive into Units 1 and 3 and the Outcomes for those Units with suggestions for activities, assessment, and resources. VATE will run sessions in May 2021 with a more specific focus on Units 2 and 4.
