2021 Kent Recreation Baseball & Softball
Division Age/Grade Early
Registration Fee Fee after 2/7/2021
Start Smart Coed Pre-K (3 & 4 y.o.) $75 $85 This is a six week instructional program. Parent involvement is required. Program runs on Saturday mornings at 10:00am for approximately 40 minutes. Location: Edward Ryan Memorial Park. Schedule: Saturdays, May 1, 8, 15, 22; June 5, 12. Participants must be the required age by the program’s start. Program will be capped at 25 participants taken first come, first served. Should we need to, a second 11:00am session will be added to the schedule.
Hot Shot Coed K & 1st $75 $85 This is a non-competitive tee-ball program that takes place on weekdays and Saturdays. This division will play as co-ed. Participants will receive a jersey and hat, and at the end of the season a participation medal.
Rookie Coed 2nd & 3rd $90 $100 This is a non-competitive coach-pitch program that takes place on weekdays and Saturdays. This division will play as co-ed. Participants will receive a jersey and a hat, and at the end of the season a participation medal.
Minor Softball & Baseball 4th & 5th $110 $120 This is a competitive recreational program (scores will be kept, umpires will be used, players will pitch). Participants will receive a jersey, pants and a hat. Trophies/medals will be awarded at the end of the season based upon team placement.
Junior Softball & Baseball 6th & 7th $110 $120 This is a competitive recreational program (scores will be kept, umpires will be used, players will pitch). Participants will receive a jersey, pants and a hat. Trophies/medals will be awarded at the end of the season based upon team placement. 7th graders that play travel baseball or softball will have the option to move up. Please ask us for more information.
Major Softball & Baseball 8th – 10th $130 $140 These are competitive recreational programs (scores will be kept, umpires will be used, players will pitch). Teams will play other towns from across the local area as well as other Kent teams. Participants will receive a jersey, pants and a hat. There will be playoffs in this division and trophies/medals will be awarded based upon team placement. 10th graders have the option to play up in the Seniors if they so choose. Please ask us for more information.
Senior Baseball Only 10th – 12th $130 $140 These are competitive recreational programs (scores will be kept, umpires will be used, players will pitch). Teams will play other towns from across the local area as well as other Kent teams. Participants will receive a jersey, pants and a hat. There will be playoffs in this division and trophies/medals will be awarded based upon team placement.

I hereby authorize my son/daughter to participate in the baseball/softball program sponsored by The Kent Recreation Department. I hereby release the agents, servants and employees from any liability for personal injury or property damage sustained by my child in connection with such participation. In the event of injury, I authorize Kent Recreation officials to take my child to a hospital for treatment at my expense.
