2 DAY INTENSIVE LECTURE SERIES

PLAN LIKE APROSTHODONTIST

AESTHETIC PLANNING

Patients are becoming more conscious of their smile aesthetics and as a result are seeking dental procedures to fulfil their desires of a pleasing smile. We as dentists must understand what makes up an aesthetic smile, how to diagnose unpleasing aesthetic parameters, and how to treatment plan the patient case for a successful improvement in the smile. The lecture series will break down the complexities of smile aesthetics and give those who attend a formula for success when considering, planning and treating patients with aesthetic concerns. Cases will be discussed from diagnosis to completion which will give an opportunity for participants to work up cases and see the possibilities various dental treatments have for completing and developing a desirable smile.

MASTERING OCCLUSION

Dental occlusion is a cornerstone of daily practice and an area in which clinicians must be well versed. This course is a “to the point” lecture series on the occlusion related topics pertinent to daily practice. It is designed to

equip the astute clinician with up to date knowledge of both fundamental and advanced occlusal concepts. A framework will be presented which is easy to follow and employ in daily practice when dental occlusion is a consideration in patient management. Occlusion can be a “heavy” topic however this course is designed to “lighten” it up and ensure you get the most out of it! The day will end with hands-on exercises in TMJ assessment as well as positioning exercises for centric relation, as well as “bite” registration techniques.

Presenters: Dr Mitch Innes, Dr Arash Oveissian

TESTIMONIALS

I have been lucky enough to do Dr Innes’ restorative implant course. Not only were my eyes opened to a whole next level of dentistry, he explained it all in such a way that I was able to implement the knowledge learnt into my every day practice. Even 18 months after I completed the course Dr Innes still o ers mentorship and guidance when needed for our mutual patients. I cannot recommend Dr Innes and his courses highly enough.

Dr Mitch Innes is a great presenter, and always explains things with a logical, step-by-step approach. The topics covered are always very relevant to everyday scenarios in general dentistry. Each lecture I’ve attended has had a hands-on component so you get a chance to put the theory into practice. Dr Arash Oveissian also contributes greatly to each course with plenty of detailed case studies. Both presenters are very approachable and seem to genuinely want you to get the most our of each course. I’m looking forward to doing more of Dr Innes’ courses next year.
