2021 - 2022 Herbert Wellness CenterParking Permit Information

Parking hours at the Coral Gables Campus and Gables One Tower is enforced 7-days a week from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. All vehicles will be required to have their license plate registered with the university during enforcement hours. A Full Permit ($111) is valid 7 days a week, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. A Nights & Weekend Permit ($56) is valid M - F, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and any time on the weekends. A permit is not required from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m., 7 days a week.

Between the hours of 6 - 8 a.m., Monday through Friday: No permit needed.Between the hours of 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday: Herbert Wellness Center 24/7 permit or pay-by-hour required.Between the hours of 4 - 11 p.m., Monday through Friday: Herbert Wellness Center 24/7 permit, nights and weekends permit or pay-by-hour required.Between the hours of 8 a.m. - 11 p.m., Saturday and Sunday: Herbert Wellness Center 24/7 permit, nights and weekends permit or pay-by-hour required.

Parking lots on the University of Miami campus are color-coded. Herbert Wellness Center permits are valid in lots designated by YELLOW and GRAY. Lots around campus are labeled with official Parking and Transportation signs at the entrance to each lot. Permits are not valid in reserved or metered spaces.

Herbert Wellness Center Parking PermitsParking permits are available to current Herbert Wellness Center members, excluding UM students on all campuses and faculty, staff and administrators of Coral Gables and Gables One campuses.

When do you work-out at the Wellness Center?

Parking is not always available directly in front of the Herbert Wellness Center. The charts below provide suggested parking options based on the time you visit campus. Non-pass holders may park in YELLOW or GRAY with the hourly or daily pass purchased from the Wellness Center pay machine, which can be purchased ahead of time at www.miami.edu/daypass or using Pay-by-Phone.

Herbert Wellness Center Parking WITHOUT a Permit• Refer to the chart below for suggested parking options.

• Metered spaces are available in front of the Herbert Wellness Center and are enforced from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days per week. The cost is $1.50 per hour and the pay station is located at the front of the facility.

• Hourly and day passes are available from the Wellness Center pay machine and via the paybyphone App (can be downloaded from either Apple store or Google play), via toll free number 1-877-885-8899 or via the web www.payby phone.com.

• San Amaro Drive parking meters are enforced from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days per week.

• Vehicles displaying a valid handicapped placard may park at any metered space for a maximum of three hours with no charge. A valid UM permit must be displayed along with a handicapped placard in non- metered, handicapped spaces.

• All vehicles must be parked head-in only with their license plate number facing outward in order for it to be read by the License Plate Recognition (LPR) enforcement cameras.

The Watsco Center North (434N), Production (431), H100, and Serpentine (425) lots are restricted during select events at the Watsco Center.

The Herbert Wellness Center will notify patrons prior to all events and lot closures so you can plan accordingly.
