Important Information
Audition Process Dates
Audition Process: Monday, April 12, 2021 & Tuesday, April 13, 2021:
MANDATORY ATTENDANCE IN ORDER TO AUDITION
Time: 4:30-7:00PM
Place: Stockbridge High School Band Room
Try-out Day: Wednesday, April 14 @ 4:30PM
-Captain Interviews will begin promptly at 4:45p.m.
Place: Stockbridge High School Band Room (Absolutely NO gum, food, sodas, etc.
is allowed during the audition process; Water, Gatorade, or Powerade is the only
exception)
Audition Attire (the correct attire is mandatory for the first, two days)
1. Plain White tee shirt (no writing on the shirt)
2. Black sports bra(s)
3. Black bottoms (either of the two are acceptable)
● Black shorts/briefs (dance tights must be worn under the shorts)
● Black Pants/leggings
1. White socks
1. Dance shoes or tennis shoes
1. Hair & Make-Up should be performance ready at all times.
THE ATTIRE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
Audition Day: Wednesday, April 14, 2021
What is expected?
What should I wear?
Each prospective dancer should wear all black attire for audition day. Each prospective dancer
is allowed to show their personality through their all black attire and come performance ready.
How should I wear my hair and make-up?
Each girl should wear their hair and make-up in a style that shows they are performance ready.
What time should I arrive?
You should arrive NO LATER THAN 4:30 p.m. for all days. Auditions will start promptly at
4:45 p.m. on the last day, April 14, 2021.
Where should I report for tryouts?
Prospective dancers should report to the SHS band room.
What time should I tell my ride to pick me up on Wednesday?
The audition day may take longer than usual, due to call backs from the judges (if needed), and
the number of girls that audition at one time. You may want to have your ride on call. However, we should be done by 7:30PM.
When will I find out if I made the team or not?
The 2021-2022 Divine Tigers Dance Line results will be posted on the Divine Tigers Instagram page on Friday, April 16, 2021.
Will this be an open audition process?
NO. This is a CLOSED AUDITION. (ALL DAYS).

SHS “Divine Tigers” Dance Line Audition Waiver Form
I understand one requirement of eligibility for participation in SHS “Divine Tigers” Dance
Line is adequate insurance coverage against injury while practice or performance. Since my
child is adequately covered with personal and/or family accident insurance, I will not require
additional insurance coverage from the school/county.

SHS “Divine Tigers” Audition Parental Consent Form

participate in the SHS “Divine Tigers” Dance Line Auditions from Monday, April 12, 2021
through Wednesday, April 14, 2021. My child agrees to abide by the rules and regulations set
by the Henry County School System and Stockbridge High School. I understand that if my
child does not abide by the rules and regulations set by the Henry County School System they
will be terminated from the audition process. I understand I am responsible for securing
transportation to and from the audition location for my child.
I have read the Audition Packet as well as Parental Consent Form, and agree to all terms
and conditions stated in those documents.

Student Grade/Behavior Check
Prospective members must obtain (3) teacher recommendations. If you are in dual
enrollment or a part of another off-campus program, please have the respective teachers
complete the following forms.
In order for prospective dancers to be considered as a member of the 2021-2022
Stockbridge High School “Divine Tigers” Dance Line, they must perform well in the
classroom and be on their best behavior at ALL times. Dancers must have at least a 3.0
Grade Point Average. Students who do not meet standards will NOT be considered as a
member of the SHS “Divine Tigers” Dance Line. It is the students’ responsibility to bring
you this form, have it filled out, and turned in, in a timely manner.
CURRENT SHS Students:

Have a current teacher complete the evaluation. Teacher may return the evaluation to the
student in an email with a wet signature scanned and uploaded to the form. All teacher
evaluation forms should be turned in, along with your audition packet no later than Friday,

CAPTAIN CANDIDATE
- Submit a one page paper (Times New Roman, 12 font, double spaced) in the same email with the
packet and teacher recommendation letters. The page should express why you are a good candidate for
the 2021-2022 captain position
- Starting at 4:45PM on April 14, 2021, candidate will showcase an original 1 minute routine to a song
of your selection, 1 fast and 1 slow/medium stand, also to two songs of your selection (please provide
the song name & artist in email) on the audition day, April 14, 2021
