1. INTERalliance will work with the companies to determine who is selected for an interview. We will notify you as to whether or not you received an interview for each opportunity by Wed 3/17 with instructions to schedule your interview. About the IT Careers Camp

There will be 4 sessions of camp, each 1 week long taking place at a local university over the span of 2 weeks. The interns will be expected to plan the camps in advance, and execute these plans in a manner that is professional, enjoyable for the students and informative. The week will consist of site visits, speakers, meals and afternoon activities, all of which are to be planned by the interns in teams of 2.

Why the IT Careers Camp

The IT Careers Camp Internship is unique from any other internships due to the amount of interaction you will have with professionals from many different fields, the interaction you will have with students, teachers, parents, and professionals, as well as the creative freedom of planning an event for students. You will learn skills that will follow you throughout life,

The Opportunity The INTERalliance requires 4 professional interns to run and assist in the planning of the Summer IT Careers Camp program. This year, there are 4 sessions of the camp hosted at local universities.

You will work with our sponsors and stakeholders in scheduling site visits to local companies, preparing activities and challenges with the companies, managing all logistics of the camp week from food to activities, and work alongside INTERalliance Central Office staff on the curriculum for the week.

This year will be one of the most engaging years for the IT Careers Camp yet as we will be working more closely than ever with the universities on their camps. This year, students attending will learn about a wide array of topics from college professors and

The Cybersecurity Development Interns (2) will work on one of many of our software development projects in our cybersecurity organization software development pods. These assignments will focus on completing proofs of concept (PoC's) of new technologies to help the cybersecurity team more effectively detect and respond to threats. There may also be a component of DevOps support for existing toolsets. Technologies may include Javascript, Angular, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Kibana, and/or ServiceNow.

Digital Technology Solutions

Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) is GE Aviation's full stack development org. The DTS interns (2) will work within a modern development stack including Vue.js, Springboot, Nodejs, Docker, Mocha, and AWS native services. While working utilizing the Agile development methodology, students will implement frontend and backend application features as a contributing member of a development pod.

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) intern (1) will focus on the development of a highly automated and scalable solution for infrastructure and operations. The SRE will leverage aspects of software engineering and data pipeline skills to build a common platform for alerting and monitoring, automate ops processes, and identify and recover from failures automatically. Technologies include AWS native services such as Kinesis, Redshift, etc. and building visualizations using Spotfire.

CTOThe Cloud/DB Operations intern (1) will work closely with our cloud and database teams to automate migration of databases and business applications from existing infrastructure into the cloud (AWS and/or Azure).

Supply Chain DTOur supply chain organization is undergoing technological change and there is a need to democratize organizational data for analytics. The SC DT interns (2) will work to develop a Python based API for data generated by shop machinery.

Engines Modernization

Engines Modernization is one of the largest IT initiatives in GE Aviation at this time. The goal is to convert from 25+ yr-old mainframe systems onto a more modern platform. This intern (1) would help with Spotfire data/analytics, Rally dashboards, and participate in SCRUMs and Agile ceremonies. If time allows, this role would also learn Oracle eBusiness Suite and help on one of the release trains.

Job Overview: Application Operations Specialist Intern

The Digital Workplace Solutions (DWS) within Digital Technology is responsible for delivering world class end user support for such areas as Personal Computers, Mobility devices, and key application support for our GE internal customers. Role Description: As a Software Engineer, you will be part of the Service Management ecosystem development team which is a part of Core Tech Solutions. This role is responsible for programing a feature and/or a small feature set within various GE internal technologies. The person in this position will work independently and contribute to the team with direction from the Senior Team Members or Management.

You will be a key part of the Service Management development team as part of Core Tech Solutions. The Organization:

Founded in 1831, Xavier University is a Jesuit Catholic university in Cincinnati, Ohio. Xavier Information Technologies (IT) division supports over 1,600 PCs and Macs for our faculty, staff and public student access areas. We also have 200 zero-clients deployed to our virtual desktop environment. Every summer we conduct a “refresh” of approximately one fourth of the computers. The Desktop Infrastructure area is responsible for coordinating model selection and purchase to deployment of the 400 or so PCs and Macs.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for two to three summer interns to become part of our summer deployment team. These interns will also assist at our University Help Desk during occasional down times. This area supports both walk-up users and callers that require technical support for hardware, software and account related issues.

Summer Deployment Technician (two to three opportunities):

This position involves assisting Xavier staff with the replacement of faculty, staff, and public computers. Work duties will consist of: assist with managing and organizing the warehouse, unpacking and inventorying computers, imaging and asset tagging, system delivery and migration tasks. Interns will ensure the successful installation of the new system, escalating any problems they encounter to the full time staff. They will organize old systems for pickup and removal.
