The sanctity of a marriage between a man and a woman is worth fighting for. Businesses have been forced to close. Freedoms of speech and religion have been denied. All of the radicals that demand their way or else they will usher in chaos. We must stand strong and united. We must not compromise, while at the same time live with compassion for all. We are called to love and share the truth of God’s Word. It is not loving to hide the Truth to protect some from the reality of it. The lives of our youth are at stake. Yes, we must love and be loving, but continue to proclaim the Good News to a lost and dying world. The most loving thing we can do is to let others know of God’s plan and that Jesus is still the Way, the Truth and the Life! Trying to save those who are being led astray is still the call of God to the Church. It is a dangerous but rewarding challenge. And we can be a part of this End-Time work. The spiritual warfare is incredibly clear. The enemy (the accuser) is working overtime to bring down our nation and the world. But in this darkness the light still shines - and shines brightly. We must move with love, wisdom and strength. Now is the day for Spirit- filled people to not just talk but to walk (Galatians 5:25). We have been chosen to lead with uncompromising love and truth. It is my belief that if one truly believes in God you will want to go to Church and be with other believers. The Bible confirms my belief with the following: “Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary: praise Him in the firmament of His power.” (Psalms 150:1, KJV). In fact, it goes on in the same verse and says you will praise Him in the firmament (heaven or sky). In the next verse it says that you will praise God because you believe in God’s greatness and mighty acts. “Praise Him for His mighty acts: praise Him according to His excellent greatness.” (Psalms 150:2, KJV). Further along it says: “PraiseHim with the sound of the trumpet: praise Him with the psaltery and harp.” (Psalms 150:3, KJV). You will praise God on anything that makes music because you believe He is who the Bible says He is! The King of kings, and the Lord of lords!

It goes on to say we are to, “Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: praise Him with stringed instruments and organs.” (Psalms 150:4, KJV). See if you truly believe you will praise God on anything and everything you possess, because you believe God is the answer to everything in your life. “Praise Him upon the loud cymbals: praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals.” (Psalms 150:5, KJV). If you truly believe you will not be a soft praiser, you will be a loud and boisterous praiser, because you know Him and love Him more than words can say.

Finally, you will praise God with every breath and all the energy you have. “Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” (Psalms 150:6, KJV). Everyone that knows you will know you love God by your praise, by your testimony, and by your enthusiasm for Praising God!

Ezra International is a Christian non-profit organization that helps the poorest of the poor Jewish people make aliyah (emigrate to Israel). The return of Jewish people to Israel today is a fulfillment of God’s promise made centuries ago. For 2,000 years, it seemed impossible but now it’s happening!

Ezra International’s founder and president, Mel Hoelzle, along with his wife Joanne, have been part of aliyah—the return of the Jewish people to Israel—since the early 1990s. Mel believes that God’s name is glorified when Christians extend a helping hand to the Jewish people. This vision has led him to pioneer service to Jewish communities in Ukraine, Siberia, Argentina, and many other countries where Ezra’s teams work.

Here is one story:Maria was a baby when her mother, Violetta, fled the horrors of WWII. Tragically, many of her family members were taken to concentration camps and executed for no other reason than being Jewish. After spending one year in a refugee camp in Rome, Violetta and Maria embarked on a 20-day boat trip bound for Venezuela.

Maria remained in Venezuela and is now 76 years old. She had a son and named him Roberto. We met Roberto in the midst of a new tragedy facing this family. In fact, Roberto compared their situation to the Holocaust. Venezuela is suffering from a total economic collapse which has led to food and medicine shortages, hyperinflation and crime. Roberto told us they suffered persecution and struggled to find food daily.

With his mother Maria now ill and his wife pregnant, Roberto was desperate. They could not get the medical treatment for Maria and they were horrified by the lack of sanitary conditions for having a baby. Since Roberto’s wife had both Colombian and Venezuelan nationality, they decided to have the child in Bogota, Colombia.

Ezra international intervened. We helped rescue Maria, Roberto and his wife from the desperate situation in Venezuela. Not only did we help them make it to Colombia, we helped them return all the way home to Israel. We were able to restore their hope for a better future!
