Can manifest itself as canopy penetrant, cuticle penetrant, anti bounce agent, anti drift agent, anti evaporation agent, etc. Formulations vary from oil-based concentrates, to inverting oils, to polymer formulations, as well as other forms. Primary use is with any pesticide--the deposition aids tend to exist in forms, which favor specific pesticide types.

CHARACTERISTIC | DRIFT CONTROL AGENTS WITH AMSUsually a polymer based formulation, which modifies the spray solution viscosity and reduces % of droplets, which are more likely to drift. Within this category there are two types of products available. The first are soil surfactants, these allow water to penetrate the soil profile for reduced puddling of water, and allows for a more even soil moisture. The second type of product available is a hybrid of the first category, soil surfactants, and the addition of polymers to help retain water in the soil. These products act like a sponge and have been shown to hold water in the soil profile for a longer period of time.
