"Every person who holds a Pesticide Applicator Certificate shall, in such a manner as required by the Minister, keep records of each pesticide use or application...as per Regulation, Section 9.(1) of the Pesticides Control Act. It also requires that every person who keeps records under Regulation, 9.(2) shall enter the use or application of a pesticide in the records not later than 72 hours after a pesticide use or application. These records must be kept for a period of at least three years from the date of the use or application of the pesticide”

"No pesticide can be used unless it is registered in Canada for the intended use and has a Pest Control Products Act (PCP) registration number. At all times, pesticides must be applied according to the label directions on the pesticide container."
