OUTREACH FACTS & FIGURES

• $22, 000 was spent in Membership assistance in 2019.

• 70% of all Membership Assistance went to units outside Louisville and Jefferson County

• Due to the increase in membership fees The Lincoln Heritage Council increased its membership assistance budget 60% for 2020

• $6,270 in Camp Scholarships were awarded in 2019

Structure of Meeting• Unlike District Committee Meeting or

Commissioner Meeting, the Key-3 meeting is run by the District Executive and is a time for him or her to communicate candidly the needs of the district to his or her top volunteers.

• These needs may include units that need immediate attention, or pressing volunteer vacancies.

• The Chair, Commissioner, and Executive each leave the Key-3 meeting with a “to do” list.

District Committee Meeting Structure

• Coordination is the focus of the meeting, SO the agenda needs to reflect that focus.

• Operating Committee reports should provide for assessing progress and planning for month ahead.

• The district commissioner reports on the special needs of units and solicits the assistance of operating committees to meet those needs.

• District committee meetings should be conducted in a manner that provides some fellowship and builds morale, thus contributing to the committee’s sense of unity.
