The following items fall under facilities

A designated list of service providers is posted in both buildings with the understanding that the Facilities person is to be contacted before calling a service person, unless it’s an emergency.

If you are chairman of a committee, please familiarize yourself with the security controls for the building where you hold your meetings. The following schedules pertain to the Security System:

PC Building – alarmed from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am Thrift Boutique – alarmed from 8:00 pm -6:00 am

If the alarm goes off, Monitoring Control System will call the phone in the building to ascertain whether or not to notify the police. You must know the password (different for each building) to satisfy the Monitoring Control System’s personnel or the police will be dispatched.

HANDLING EMERGENCIES

• In a medical emergency call 9-1-1. • Be courteous and helpful. • Provide comfort to injured party. • Obtain name, address and telephone of injured

person and any witnesses. • Do not promise to pay any medical bills. • Inspect the scene and make notes of

contributing conditions. • If possible, take photographs of the scene.

Do not admit responsibility. • Do not mention insurance. • Do not argue or speculate about the cause of the

accident. • Do not reprimand chapter member at the scene. • Only the CEO or Board Chairman should make

statements to the media. • Write accident report accurately and completely.
