Fellow Shooters
On behalf of the TTA Zone V Officers and the National Shooting Complex, welcome to the start of the 2019 target year and we appreciate your attendance and support. The NSC has always been very appreciative of our trap shooters as we are with all shooting sports and disciplines and we are continually working to provide improvements to the facility for all to enjoy as well as providing the highest quality event possible. This year alone we have upgraded our main entrance (still in progress), added covered BBQ areas in the RV park for use by all, and remodeled / upgraded our kitchen and bar area. As for our traps, all were fitted with new bands, fingers and brushes along with our ongoing regular maintenance schedule in an effort to maintain the quality targets that are anticipated when visiting the NSC. We have also begun and will continue to a purchase program to maintain top quality traps. We look forward to providing you with an enjoyable weekend of trap shooting. Good luck to all.
Sincerely,
Zone V OfficersRoyce Graff, President Ronny Beard, Vice-President Jennifer Wilburn, Treasurer

ZONE V CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT
2019 TTA Zone V Championships 5
1. All contestants will be eligible for trophies.
2. All options are open to anyone who pays the option entry fee, and all options are paid on a percentage basis unless otherwise stated. NSC will accept cash or check only for shoot options. Credit cards will be accepted for all other services.
3. In all events, the squadding will be done at the squadder’s discretion.
4. Targets will be set according to ATA specifications. They may be checked upon request of shooters, but will not be reset unless they have become illegal.
5. *The Management reserves the right to refuse the entry of, or to disqualify any shooter who in its opinion, is interfering with the harmony of the tournament.
6. *The Management reserves the right to postpone or cancel any event due to bad weath-er or other causes, and to change the time for starting any or all events.
7. *The Management may challenge the load of any shooter. The Management shall obtain a shell from the challenged and, after examination, if it is found the contestant violated the rules, he/she may be disqualified, and the incident reported to the officials of ATA.
8. It is an error if the scorer fails to properly mark the results of any shot in the section of the score sheet where the results should have been recorded. In such cases it is the duty of that contestant to have any error corrected before he/she has fired the first shot at the succeeding position or in the case of his last post before he leaves the trap field. Failing to do so, he shall be held to the score as recorded.
9. If you wish to save your shells for reloading, please transfer them from your gun to your pocket or pouch. Picking up shells from the ground is a nuisance to other shooters and will not be tolerated AT ANY TIME. All hulls that hit the ground are the property of the NSC.
10. No shooter will be able to make up more than two sub-events on the practice trap (except for doubles in which only 1 trap can be made up), if he or she has missed his/her squad. A shooter unable to join his squad before the squad has starting firing on the first station of the third sub-event, must be re-squadded. All make-ups for either missed squads or gun repairs must report to the practice area within 30 minutes of the last squad taking the line for that event.
11. Squads will delay a start for only three (3) minutes. If there are squad members absent, at the expiration of three (3) minutes, the squad will be started.
12. Shotgun storage is available at the Ammo Building. The cost is $5 per day per gun.
13. Shells are available and may be purchased from the National Shooting Complex.
14. Contestants will forfeit, should they leave the grounds and not be on hand for a shoot-off.
15. All events will be carried over to the next like event or shot off at the discretion of man-agement, except in the case of yardage increases.
16. The National Shooting Complex and Zone V are not responsible in the event of accident, theft or injury.
17. We suggest you enter yourself and squad for the entire program, changes are accept-able.
18. All Ladies, Juniors, Sub Juniors, Veterans and Sr. Veterans must declare their special cat-egory at the time of their entry in any registered event.
19. In all events in which trophies are given for the champions, the winners of any such tro-phies become ineligible for class trophies in the same event.
20. Any type of abuse of trap personnel will not be tolerated. Any problems shooters may encounter should be referred to the Zone 5 Officers.
21. This program may be changed or altered at the discretion of the Zone V Officers.
*Management is Zone V Officers
