    2019 WCMPOA June Board Minutes

The Tuesday June 11, 2019 board meeting was

called to order at 9 AM by President Marty

Lampner. In attendance were Marty Lampner,

Bob Coale, Jack McAleer, Adrianna Maciey, Bill

Albright and Jan Albright. The May Board

    meeting minutes were approved.

We had Kevin Malloy, WCMPOA’s Insurance

broker at the meeting to review our current

policies and present his findings on the renewal

which will take place in July. Kevin explained

every aspect of our coverage and the need for a

minor increase in premium. After Kevin left,

the board discussed the presentation and

    determined that the insurance program

presented meets our needs. It was agreed, that

while the price seems fair, that as it has been

some time since another broker looked at this it

would be helpful to get a second quote just to

confirm we are getting the best value.

    Treasurers Report by Bob Coale

Bob distributed copies of the May Treasures

report and reviewed the specifics of the

account balances, revenues, and outlays. The

board approved his report. The moving of the

Capital Projects account from Wells Fargo to

County Bank is still in process.

Pool and Recreation Report by Adrianna Maciey

Adrianna report that the opening of the pool

went smoothly. The Board discussed having a

more visible sign placed at the pool reminding

parents that they are responsible for their

children as well as other safety concerns.

Heatherworks has been contracted to clean the

    pool restrooms and showers.

The board will be looking into the possibility of

extending the season in the future.

Roads and Grounds by Jack McAleer

The Board approved ordering one set of speed

bumps to be placed on Bridge Lane. The

placement of additional speed bumps will be

    determined at a later date.

Bill Albright reported that 8 golf cart users have

picked up their 2019 stickers. There are several

users that have not yet provided proof of

insurance and picked up their stickers. A

request will be made for Gloria Knittle to add a

reminder to the newsletter concerning this

issue. Those who continue to drive their carts

on WCM roadways without a current sticker will

be notified by mail of the requirements. If they

do not come in compliance with our rules, a fine

will be levied as stated in the WCMPOA Rules

    and Regulations.

The Social Committee report by Gloria Knittle

The Social Committee is pleased to report that

the Community Picnic on Saturday, June 1 was

quite the success and enjoyed by a group of

about sixty-two residents. The weather was

great and the side dishes accompanying the

fried chicken were amazing. Thanks to all for

    supporting another delightful community event.

Architectural Review report by Laura Wildesen

Lot D-15A has been sold to Kathy and Stanford

Sutphin. Drawings from Miken Builders have

    been received.

Lot B-05, owned by PR Builders, will be cleared

of trees during the month of June.

    Old/new Business

Being no additional business, the board meeting

was adjourned at 10:38 AM. The next board

meeting will be held in September at Jack’s

    house.

    Respectively submitted, Jan Albright
