The objectives of this Chapter are to provide a well supervised youth football program.
The purpose of this program is to buildcharacter; to inspire in youth the ideals of goodcitizenship and sportsmanship; to bring together through a common interest in sports, fair play and fellowship; to ensure safety by providing responsible and intelligent supervision; to putthe welfare of the youth first and foremost and tokeep the program free of adult ambitionand personal glory.

Game Practices
Starting Monday July 22nd to Friday August 30th practices are as follows:
Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PMException for Mascots 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
They will need to be signed out at the gate to be released.
Absolutely no parents or unregistered siblings or friends are to be on the practice field.
Please contact any coordinator if there is any kind of emergency.
Competition PracticeStarting Tuesday September 3rd to Thursday November 7th
practices are as follows:
Tuesday through Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PMException for Mascots 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
They will need to be signed out at the gate to be released.
All girls need to be at Thursday practices from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM for:Game squad routine practice regardless if they are in competition.
Practice Gear and GroomingGirls are to be in comfortable athletic clothing for practices.This includes:• Conditioning/Cheer practice gear.• Any past bulldog gear.• Athletic Capri pants/shorts (must not be tight
fitting, & no white).• Athletic tennis shoes.Hair is to be pulled up into a ponytail or braid, no bobby pins, butterfly clips are okay.All eyeglasses need to have a strap on the back when at practice.
Practice Gear and Grooming cont.
This does not include:• Jeans of any kind.• Tight gymnastic shorts.• White shorts/Any top that is see through.• Any shirts that are too short and show skin, (this
includes tying shirts).• Any shoes other than athletic wear. No Vans, No
Converse etc.• No nail polish or acrylic nails. • No jewelry (Please remove earrings before
practice, Band-Aid covers do not count.)• No makeup.
Important DatesJuly 22nd First Day of PracticeAll paperwork needs to be turned in before your cheerleader is allowed on the field along with all final payments.August 8th Game Squads will be announced (Siblings have priority.)August 10th Stunt Clinic 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM @ Centennial High School****This is mandatory for all girls except Mascots ****
August 17th Opening Day Girls need to check-in at 10:30 for practice and are released after the ceremonies are over.

Parent Participation
• All cheerleaders are to report to their coach one hour prior to their scheduled game.
This allows time for stretching, routine change ups and check-in.
• You are to make sure your daughter comes prepared to cheer for her game.
Correct Hairbow.Uniform with briefs.Cheer shoes with provided socks.All jewelry removed and no makeup.
Parent Participation cont.
• There may or may not be a cheer squad for every football team.
• If there is no coach for the cheer team and no parent volunteers, the girls will be divided onto other cheer squads.
• We are not asking the girls to sell anything this season to fundraise. We do ask that you participate in:

Parent Participation cont.
• At the beginning of the regular season you will be asked to help your cheer squad.
• Please donate $10.00 (one time) for each cheerleader and a case of water to your game coach. This will help provide snacks for all the cheerleaders on your game squad for the season.
• Do not bring your daughter food to eat at the game once on the field, this is not fair to the other girls and could also upset her stomach when cheering.
• Please make sure your cheerleader eats prior to her game.

Refund less the uniform fee ($150) and less the $50 non refundable fee. In addition, any ordered cheerleader uniform expense will be forfeited.

Commissioner Responsibilities Responsible for Coaches (Football & Cheer),
and all conference and league rules. Establishes direction of Cheer program along
with Cheer Director. Ensures players are placed on the appropriate
team for their skill level and safety level. Ensures ALL kids are treated fairly and have
an equal opportunity. Certification of all personnel allowed on the
field. Ensures coaches, players, cheerleaders and
families are complying with all conference and league guidelines.
Parent Code of Conduct
Coaches Code of ConductI hereby Pledge to live up to my Chino Hills Junior All American Football and Cheer (CHJAAF) certification and to the Code of Conduct set forth by CHJAAF and Southern California Junior All American Football and Cheer (SCJAAF) conference.
I will place the emotional and physical well-being of my players ahead of a personal desire to win.
I will lead by example in demonstrating fair play and sportsmanship to all my players. I will not run up the score against any opponent.
I will do my best to provide a safe playing situation for my players. I will treat all players with respect.
I will organize and structure practices so as to challenge, instruct and prepare players for success on and off the field.
I will provide an environment for my team that is free of drugs, tobacco, and alcohol in accordance with all Chino Valley Unified School District policies and those policies of school districts of my opponents. I will refrain from their use at all CHJAAF/SCJAAF football events.
I understand I am required to complete and certify in the following mandatory coaching clinics: A) Conference mandated coaching clinics; B) Chapter mandated coaching clinics. All documentation must be provided to the Chapter Commissioner before July 15th.
I understand the I am responsible for field set up or take down for a minimum of two (2) home game dates during the regular season. Failure to do so will result in a team fine of $25 for each time of missed assignment. (Deducted from Team Budget.)
I understand I am responsible for all equipment provided to me by CHJAAF and all equipment must be returned at the end of the season or December 31st whichever comes first. Any missing equipment will result in my equipment deposit being FORFEITED entirely or partially refunded.
I will be knowledgeable and abide by the rules of SCJAAF and CHJAAF football. I will act in accordance with these rules including Coaching Code of Conduct, all Board policies, objectives and bylaw. Any violation can lead to suspension.
I understand I am responsible for the actions of MY team including assistant coaches, staff and players at any SCJAAF and CHJAAF event.
I will not argue with game officials, conference officials, league officials or opposing teams. I will conduct myself calmly when discussing rule interpretation and not shout derogatory remarks.
I understand any physical or verbal abuse with anyone will result in immediate suspension from the program. Suspension includes all practices and game day activities.
I understand that unsportsmanlike behavior can lead to my suspension from a game. I understand that violating the rules of conduct may also lead to my suspension from the CHJAAF Chapter. I understand that in these instances I may be required to appear before the Executive Board of Directors to explain my actions and the Executive Board of Directors may take whatever action it deems necessary-including termination from the program.
I understand that I am responsible for any fines that are levied by the conference including any game day fines. Said fines must be paid 48 hours prior to the following game or I will not be allowed to coach until fines are paid. (Appeals notwithstanding.)
I will adhere to the 10-play minimum play rule in accordance with the conference rulebook AND the 5-play rule for all Playoff Games in accordance with SCJAAF conference rulebook. I further realize that deviation from this rule will result in player “starting” the next game and a minimum of 15-plays in the same game.
I will not deviate from the chapter approved uniform. Any uniform additions (patches, etc.) must be approved by the President, Commissioner and Chapter Athletic Director.
I will not cancel or relocate a scheduled practice without 24-hour prior approval from the COMMISSIONER.
I understand my Team Athletic Director is responsible for player well-being and has the final say whether a player can return to a game or practice.
I understand the Commissioner and Chapter Athletic Director will place players in their correct division based on weight/age certification.
I will treat all volunteers with respect.
I will attend all CHJAAF events, to the extent possible, including: equipment handout, Conditioning Camp, scheduled games, practices, coaches’ meetings, picture day and Opening Day.
I understand the Commissioner and/or Chapter AD has the right to question and/or intercede on behalf of the league or parents of any child in the CHJAAF program.
I will remember that I am a youth sports coach and that the game is for children not adults.
I understand that violation of any of the above may result in my suspension and/or termination from the CHJAAF program.
Parent Code Of Conduct• Main takeaways: No unauthorized persons are allowed on the
field at practice or games. No alcohol, drugs or smoking/vaping are
allowed at any practice, home or away fields. No profanity directed towards anyone. No violent physical contact to any coach,
player, referee or adult. 24-Hour Rule. Violation of any item on the Parent Code of
Conduct can result in ejection from the field and/or league.
We as a chapter are responsible for what happens at any field, home or away.
Coaches Code Of Conduct• Each coach acknowledges and signs a Coaches
Code of Conduct that includes:
Coaches will place the emotional and physical well-being of my cheerleaders ahead of any personal desire to win.

Keep all cheerleaders in a safe and responsible manner.
Game LocationsHome Games during the regular season are played at Ayala, Chino Hills or Don Lugo High School.Away Games are played throughout the So Cal conference:Furthest cities:• North – Apple Valley/Victorville• South – Murrieta • East – Twentynine Palms/Indio• West – Chino Hills

Please respect and follow all away chapter rules and field guidelines.
PlayoffsAfter the Cheer Competition your team could be in the playoffs. The SCJAAF playoffs are single elimination games through the Championship. Championship games are the weekends
of November 30th/December 1st & 7th. All playoff games are NEUTRAL site
locations. All cheerleaders can cheer for any team. We encourage you to cheer throughout
the playoffs!
