Changing. Growing. Thriving. TOGETHER.

This year’s Consortium begins Wednesday evening on a beautiful patio and features appetizers, burgers, brews, and desserts. It will be a perfect setting for expanding your banking network. On Thursday, keynote speaker Virginia Heyburn talks about conversational banking and six Ignite! presenters – bankers and business partners you know – share their stories. Pretty powerful.

Each peer group has its own meeting and by the end of the Consortium, you will have plenty of “take home” information to use immediately.

Thank you for your many contributions to peer conversations. All of us at NDBA are grateful and honored to work for and with all of you. Together we are changing, growing, and thriving.

Virginia Heyburn

Virginia Heyburn, vice president of thought leadership with Fiserv, will explore next-level banking services that are conversational – offering mutual engagement – and how banks can prepare to deliver finely-tailored advice and services instantly. Today’s customer is always-on and hyper-informed, favoring speed over design for their on-the-go, need-it-now lifestyles. Banks must pursue conversational banking models that leverage critical advances in technology such as artificial intelligence, voice banking, chat bots, and intelligent payment hubs.

The ND Heritage Center has the perfect setup for the 2019 Peer Group Consortium: the Russell Reid Auditorium for a large group gathering, classrooms for peer group discussions and plenty of parking. Parking is available on the east side of the Heritage Center, right off Boulevard Avenue.

The NDBA staff will be at the front doors to greet you.

bismarck ale works1100 Canada Ave l Bismarck, ND

The owners of Ale Works, Tim and Robin, noticed and deeply enjoyed the way restaurants and pubs inspired a sense of community, common spirit, and local identity, while traveling throughout Europe. Whether it be the pubs of Ireland, the beer halls of Germany, or the bistros of Italy; these are the meeting places for families, friends, and communities. It’s in the neighborhood restaurant that business is done and important conversations take place. As it’s often said, “food brings people together”. The design of Ale Works was inspired directly from the old Wilton Train Station, which is still standing today. Ale Works is located just south of Furniture Row in north Bismarck right off of Hwy 83: west on LaSalle Dr and north on Ottowa St.
