It has been an interesting year with the implementation of trade tariffs and other political uncertainty. However, cattle prices have held relatively steady in the face of greater supply. Some profitability has been realized by the feedlot sector. It has also been a challenging harvest season and mycotoxins may be present in the corn silage and corn. Antibiotic use is still being closely scrutinized. The 1st session will address feed management, corn silage levels and emerging technologies to improve animal health, and lessen antibiotic usage. The 2nd session will focus on price outlook, markets and Beef Sustainability.
