He serves a large owner/operator of five-star hotels. Chris provides consulting services around several acquisitions and dispositions of properties held in both the US and foreign jurisdictions. He serves a large financer of single-family home communities, as well as its founder and owner. Chris worked on a sale from the founder’s family to existing management in a tax-effective manner while meeting the business objectives of the parties. He also serves a privately held fund with $11 billion in investments, primarily in public stocks and private investments.

Chris has experience serving a large public REIT with a world-class portfolio of regional malls. He provides compliance and consulting services and has served a privately held retail company (and the owners) that converted to a public REIT and then merged into another public REIT. He represented a large privately held fund in defending tax controversy issues in connection with federal, state and city tax audits. Chris served for 10 years as the West Region Compliance Process Leader, working to build standardized processes in the delivery of compliance services to the market.
