THE WBS LEARNING EXPERIENCELearning on the IEDP is highly interactive, and is case

study based with group work and networking sessions

so that delegates can learn as much as possible from

each other. You will also learn about yourself by being

challenged to examine the assumptions you may have

previously used when taking decisions and leading

people.

EXECUTIVE COACHING SESSIONSEach delegate will have a number of coaching sessions

with a dedicated executive coach. This helps translate

the knowledge acquired and skills gained when back

at work.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTSThe programme fee includes all travel (economy class

airfare) and accommodation arrangements, which will

be made on behalf of the delegates. Delegates must

be in possession of a passport valid up to and including

end March 2020.

Accommodation in Johannesburg Accommodation in Johannesburg is not included in

the Programme Fee. Details of hotels close to WBS are

available and will be provided on request.

BUSINESS CLASS UPGRADESDelegates may apply for an upgrade to business class

at an additional fee which will be given on request.

A quote for the actual additional fare will be given at

the time of booking. As there are a limited number of

business class seats reserved for the group, these will

be allocated on a first come first served basis.

VISASApplicants who are accepted on the programme will

be responsible for obtaining their own visas for the

United Kingdom, Japan and Dubai. No refunds of programme fees will be given if, for any reason, delegates are unable to obtain the necessary visas.

FEES, APPLICATIONS AND DATESThe fee for the IEDP is R305 000. This covers tuition,

books, case materials, refreshments, most lunches,

some dinners and the overseas study tour to London,

Tokyo and Dubai. Delegates who are accepted on

the programme will be notified and an invoice will

be issued.

The programme fee may be subject to a currency surcharge to cover exchange rate movements of travel and overseas expenses.A firm quotation will be given at the time of application.

All fees must be paid one month before the start of

the programme.

The closing date for applications is Friday 14 June 2019.

Delegates are, however, encouraged to apply before

this to avoid any disappointment.

Withdrawal of candidates may be made without

penalty up to Friday 31 May, after this a cancellation

fee of R25 000 will apply. Candidates who cancel after

Friday 28 June will be liable for the full course fee.

UNIVERSITY CERTIFICATECertificates of Attendance will be awarded by both

Wits Business School and London Business School

after the successful completion of the programme.

REGISTRATION AND ORIENTATION SESSIONRegistration will take place at the launch session on Friday 5 July 2019 from 12:00 to 17:30. This is a half day orientation

session which takes place three weeks before the start of the programme.

This session is not compulsory for International delegates.

The programme officially starts on Tuesday 30 July at 07:45.

A detailed timetable will be sent to delegates once they are accepted onto the programme.
