Youth Music Project serves 1,500+ students annually! The only organization of its kind in Clackamas County, Youth Music Project depends on community investment to continue fulfilling its mission. Support from donors and sponsors lets us offer tuition assistance to low-income youth, recruit talented and passionate instructors, and encourage children of all backgrounds to follow their creative dreams.

PERFORMANCEYouth Music Project has a state-of-the-art performance venue, the Meteor Lounge, which includes an ADA-accessible stage, a lighting and sound system, and recording capabilities. This space hosts hundreds of student performances every year.COMMUNITYYouth Music Project believes music has a powerful role to play in building strong, thriving communities. We partner with youth-serving organizations across Clackamas County and the greater Portland area. Our aim is to increase music education and exposure via on-site field trips, performances, and tailored programming.EQUITY AND ACCESSYouth Music Project plays a critical role in addressing equity in access to music education, welcoming children from all families, regardless of their ability to pay.

BATTLE DETAILS

WIN THE TITLE, THE GLORY, AND THE PLATINUM RECORD!Youth Music Project’s first annual Corporate Battle of the Bands showcases the musical talents and showmanship of managers, lawyers, shopkeepers, coders, doctors, CEOs, engineers, and more as they transform into rock stars for the night — at Youth Music Project’s state-of-the-art Meteor Lounge in West Linn!

This exciting event (ages 21+ only) includes a V.I.P. pre-party, signature cocktails, and plenty of the Pacific Northwest’s spectacular microbrews.

Network with other local professionals and team-build in the key of Rock!

HOW IT WORKSSponsorship opportunities range from $1,000 to $5,000 with a basic band-entry sponsorship at the $3,000 level. Each band may have up to six members. At least one of those members must be an employee at the sponsoring company.

Competing bands will each have a 10-minute set to impress the audience and panel of judges comprised of local music celebrities. All styles and experience levels are welcome!

BANDS GET V.I.P. ROCK-STAR TREATMENTBand bio and posters, paparazzi, screaming fans, and more! Bands compete and help raise money for Youth Music Project through the sponsorship entry fee and donations made by their fans.

THE VENUE: THE METEOR LOUNGE, YOUTH MUSIC PROJECTBands get the rock-star experience with professional sound and lighting alongside an audience of adoring fans! Sponsors and their guests can enjoy a cocktail-lounge vibe at their V.I.P. reserved seating.
